Game Mechanics Alternate ores and corruption

I've been thinking, I know there is an alternative to the prehardmode and hardmode ores, but I think there should be even more including a new alternate corrupt biome. New armor, weapons, and accessories. IDK it sounds like an interesting idea to me.

corruption - crimson
just like how the ores have their alternates
either way a 'idk i think this is a good idea' post is not good.
we need details, we need specifics in order for you to actually gain support
this isn't even a concept, just a thought
