Am I losing my mind? There was a walking tree in this game, right?

I swear, I remember walking to the beach in one of my worlds, past a jungle and there was a thin walking tree that you could attack. I forget what it dropped, but I am about 90% sure it was one of the living-tree wands.

Was this cool little creature removed from the game or was it specific to certain seeds? It wasn't like a mini-boss, just a hard one-off creature that I don't even think it attacked you, if you approached it, but it could be killed. It wasn't a pine-tree or that other thick, ugly Halloween tree. This looked more like Groot. :p Tall and thin.
 
Other than Mourning Wood or related items, I've not seen any walking trees enemy in this game.

Could it be modded or mismembered?
 
Must have been a mod, there has never been an enemy like this in vanilla. Nothing fits the description of a Pre-Hardmode walking tree enemy, and the living wood wands have been exclusive to natural Giant Trees until recently.
