The magic marker is bought from the wizard when he is near the painter (or party girl).
The marker will let you toggle your text between different RGB colours, change the font of your text, add different colour backgrounds to your text, make the colour of your text blend to another colour such as red to green and also style your text with different styles such as bold, italics, underline,crossed , small, large, spoiler, and more (oh wait methinks you can already do these things in terraria). It would work on chest, chat, grave stone, announcement sign, signpost, and pretty much anything in the world ( it wouldn’t work for things outside of the world like naming characters and worlds in the menu just saying).
It basically lets you edit your text in many different ways regardless of what platform you are on. It came up with it when a saw the glowing ink sac from Minecraft. I think it could be handy as you wouldn’t always have to type hex codes such as [c/ff0000: blood moon is rising] which take up a lot of space. Maybe people will think it adds more variety or maybe people will think that terraria doesn’t need this unnecessary amount of customisation but I think it would be cool.
