Weapons & Equip Apparition: Summoner Asset

As far as summoning weapons go, there are stationary turrets and minions. I propose a new type of summon. A magic-style weapon that deals summon damage.

For my example, I choose to use the Shadowflame Apparition, as it would work well for this purpose. The Goblin Summoner conjures up these "Apparitions", which have health, and fight for the summoner. And, as you may have noticed, the Goblin Summoner drops an item for every class OTHER than summoners. Which confuses me considering it is a summoner.

My idea is a new type of minion. As much as summoner class has been buffed and added onto since it was originally introduced, it could still use a bit more. So, this new minion type, an "Apparition", (Which by definition is: A ghost or ghostlike image of a person. Synonyms: ghost, phantom, specter, spirit, wraith) can only be summoned one at a time, will have a health bar, and cost large amounts of mana. They will attack like a normal minion, but can be aggroed and attacked, just like your character. Once they die, another can be summoned. As far as I know, they would behave similarly to the stardust armor's special minion, with movement and health.
In terms of damage, they could be stronger than minions of the same tier, but obviously will be set back by their health and mana cost.

So, here goes on some apparitions I think could be added:

I'm not sure about later tiers. If you have any ideas for them, feel free to let me know so I can add them to the list!

Well, that's it! Feedback is appreciated, and ideas to add on to it are always nice :guidetongue:

I like this suggestion. <3

Not a huge fan of summoners, but this could prove to be a very clever addition.

Edit: Get reply'd, son

Eyyyy. Thnx <3

I thought of the idea because it's such a time struggle playing summon only. This way you have something active to do rather than jump around dodging stuff.

Very true.

Summoners already allow the use (in some cases) of the Crimson Rod and Nimbus Rod despite being magic weapons, just so they have a means of directly attacking things.

Indeed. I feel bad for summoners who don't use anything other than turrets and minions. Which means I feel bad for myself... :guidecry:

Devs, this is why minions are broken. They don't have hp.

OT: I really like you suggestion especially the golem apparition, but don't you think that mana cost should be a constant 10?

Considering they have HP, I feel like it's a bit cheap since it's something the summoner will be doing actively. 10 mana is nothing, so most likely by the time your apparitions die, you can easily summon another one.

I REALLY Like this idea. FULL FULL +Support It seem like a great way to allow summoners to more directly do damage and make use of mana, and have a small way to aggro enemies away from you.

Not entirely sure what you mean by that, or what that picture is...

Not sure what he meant either.. but the picture is from an anime called star crusaders. That thing behind the guy acts like a star guardian, but it does more than pull people near it and hit 40 damage... Anyway, people think it is a reference to the show.
