So, I've decided to make an AMA, as you can probably see here. As long as any particular question that gets asked doesn't get too personal, I'll answer it, if possible. To put it simply, don't ask for anything that would(on its own) reveal my real world identity, or the identity of people I know, in a major way(IE: any questions explicitly involving age, name, where I(or they) live, medical information, family, what religion I practice, what my(or their) voice sounds like IRL, etc.), nor anything political. While I recommend not asking me what some of my favorite things are, they're still allowed. (IE: they're somewhat personal, but not enough for me to be completely against them in the rules... as long as these kinds of questions aren't asked too much). If I end up needing to add more/change rules, I will, but for now, ask away!

If I end up feeling like I have a different answer to a question that I've previously answered before(either here on my AMA or on my profile), I'll attempt to quote the same post. In the cases of profile posts, however, I'll provide a picture of the post with the question being asked, and a quote from the same person who asked me that, albiet without a pointer pointing to the specific post(that's what the picture is supposed to be for; to show what the post looked like). Should a question wind up being repeated accidentally, I'll still answer it again(assuming it isn't asking anything that is on the "DO NOT ASK ME THIS" list).

I do have some OCs now, so if you want to ask them something too, go ahead... so long as they're in the "completed" section, that is.

Full name: Alphonse "Aleph"
Age: 10
Gender: Male
Species: Protodragon(Protogen Dragon; still anthro and furry, though!)
Former Breath Element: Lightning
Appearance:
Blue fur, with the visible metalic parts on his arms, head, torso, and wings being coated in gold-colored paint. The hinges on his wings/fingers are made out of some iron alloy, and therefore can still rust(as noted in Weaknesses), however. Has horns on his head(as shown in my PFP). Wears black, rubber gloves on his hands(they aren't exactly water-proof though...). Sometimes wears a special black vest, with gold and lime green stripes on it(as shown in Unit 13's approximation of my PFP), as he wouldn't be able to extend his wings otherwise(by similar logic, he can't wear shirts either). Can still wear pants/shorts(although his tail gets in the way sometimes). Also wears black shoes(also with gold and green stripes.)

Personality: Often a bit eccentric and adventurous, as well as mildly oblivious, but typically friendly. Isn't always aware of his actions. Gets into sticky situations fairly often. Prefers to play video games using his mask(as noted in Abilities) rather than using a normal controller. Nickname was also given after an accident(mentioned in Backstory), and generally prefers to be called by that nickname.
Abilities:
  • Flight.
  • Can enter digital realms(IE: video games) though his mask.
Weaknesses:
  • Can't swim(rusts up his wing and finger joints specifically, plus the metalic parts restrict movement a little bit).
  • Water doesn't immediately short out his mask, but it can if he's in water for too long.
  • Can feel pain when in digital realm(both digital and real pain).
  • Dying in said digital realm(but not IRL) makes him go unconscious for a short while.
  • Vulnerable whilst in the digital realm(Viruses, hacks, spacial awareness in the real world, etc.).
  • Vulnerable to fire(due to being fluffy in certain parts, and hot metalic parts doesn't help)
  • Magnets(causes him to not think straight; not to mention distorts his vision)
Was originally a fluffy anthro-dragon, but when he was 5 or so(he can't remember exactly when), he wasn't watching where he was flying, and accidently flew right into the side of a rocky cliff, causing him to need artificial arms and wings, as well as a special mask to help him still see after said accident. It hasn't damaged his adventurous spirit, though! Especially since he can't remember anything about said accident.

Gender: Male
Species: Protodragon
Former Breath Element: Earth(more accurately, sand)
Appearance:
Has light yellow fur, with brass-colored metalic wings and mask. Right arm and both feet are metalic as well. His mask and wings are more refined in appearance, though his right arm as well as his feet have a clockwork look to them. Has horns as well. Also wears a cowboy hat, cowboy pants, and a cowboy-like vest. Has a tail as well.

Personality: Serious and intimidating at first, has a somewhat soft side. Rarely finds things he finds funny. (not exactly sure how to describe his personality quite right...)

Additional Objects Carried:
  • Steampunk-looking brass pocket watch.
Abilities/Strengths:
  • Flight.
  • Can enter digital realms(IE: video games) though his mask, though usually doesn't do so.
  • Water doesn't short out mask... somehow.
  • Can swim.
  • Can time travel.
  • Can fire a laser beam from his right hand. (not temporal-based)
Weaknesses:
  • Can feel pain when in digital realm(both digital and real pain).
  • Dying in said digital realm(but not IRL) makes him go unconscious for a short while.
  • Vulnerable whilst in the digital realm(Viruses, hacks, spacial awareness in the real world, etc.).
  • Vulnerable to fire(due to being fluffy in certain parts, and hot metalic parts doesn't help)
  • Traveling through time quickly wears himself out.
  • Cannot halt/slow/reverse the flow of time on himself. (in other words, he can't prevent himself from aging.)
  • Can only travel so far back in time; he can't travel to any time before the accident.
  • Said laser beam can only be used for a few seconds before overheating.
  • Magnets(same reasons as before; also makes him "anchored" to the flow normal flow of time[in other words, he can't travel through time when nearby strong magnets])
At the age of 15, he was kidnapped to be used as a test subject for a time travel experiment. However, the time machine used in the experiment exploded, leaving him wounded, but still alive, though he needed to undergo similar surgery as Aleph did. However, he also absorbed most of the temporal energy from the blast, causing him to gain the ability to travel through time. This energy later tweaked some of his replacement body parts to take on a clockwork-like appearance. He discovered his powers after realizing that the scientists that had kidnapped him also destroyed his home, causing him to lose his parents. Struck by grief, he time traveled back to when his parents were still alive, albiet close to death, as the accident took place at roughly the same time as his house getting destroyed. In his parents' last few moments, they explained what happened to them, to his home. From that point on, he vowed to take revenge on the company that ruined his life.

Full name: Vortex (not even gonna include an alternate name)
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Species: Squarrel(Anthro Squirrel)
Appearance: Pitch-Black Fur, with a couple of small, light green swirls on her arms, legs and tail, with a swirl on her forehead as well. She also has light green eyes. Typically wears dark clothing to try to hide those patterns, though.

Text Color: #C1FFBD

Personality: Got a bit of spunk, and mildly arrogant. Usually gets herself into trouble. Typically looks out for herself.
Abilities:
  • Minior Spacial Warping abilities
    • Short range teleportation(20ft).
    • mild compression/decompression of objects

Weaknesses:
  • Teleporting exhausts her and can't be done too often.
  • Cannot teleport to where she can't see.
    • In other words, both a solid, opaque wall or a blindfold prevents her from being able to teleport.
    • Similarly, she can't teleport in a dark room.
    • A location seen through a mirror can work so long as it's still within range.
  • Can only safely compress/decompress organic objects when they're in containers.
    • Liquids can only be compressed in a similar manner.
  • Has to physically be touching the container(or object) with her paws.
  • Cannot compress/decompress herself.
  • Has size-based limitations regarding compression/decompression
    • Cannot compress things larger than a cubic meter.
    • Cannot compress an object to be too dense(varies depending on material; on average, no smaller than half its inital size), nor can an object be decompressed beyond its initial size.
    • An already compressed object cannot be compressed further if placed into a non-compressed container.
  • Compressed objects preserve their mass(in other words, it will weigh exactly the same as normal regardless of it's current size)
  • Eyes/fur patterns glow a little when using her powers(which makes it mildly difficult for her to be stealthy)
  • Not yet stolen treasure(she tends to get distracted if she sees treasure worth stealing)
  • Being pet(assuming that she doesn't notice you coming)
She came from a poor family in a small town, born with minor spactial warping abilities. At a young age(10-ish), she discovered those powers, and realized that she could steal food(and occasionally money) for herself and her family. However, the town found out what she had done and exiled her for her actions. Over time, since the incident, she practiced and better honed her theiving abilities, as well as practiced with her powers. Nowadays, she wanders around, stealing from others for herself, and often additionally causing mischief just for the fun of it.

She may or may not be involved with giving someone their new name... [WIP]

Gender: Female
Species: Volapine (Species designed by @TWillyH)
Volalution Type: Shadow
Appearance: Violet eyes, has mostly black fur, but has a scarlet stripe of fur on both her arms and legs(said stripes look like a wristband). Typically wears a hood and cloak.

Personality: Shy, doesn't speak that often. For the most part, nocturnal.
Abilities:
  • Can turn into a shadow and back at will.
  • Night Vision.
  • [WIP]

Weaknesses:
  • Sensitive to light; too much of it can burn her.
  • Hates the daytime.
  • [WIP]
Remembers that she had a life before a weird rift opened up in front of her, but forgot who she was, what she was like, and who she met before having crossed over through the rift. The first being she can remember meeting was a thieving anthro-squirrel... They were also the one who gave Noir her name, because they thought it sounded cool. [WIP]

What made you get into Terraria, do you still play retro games to this day, (anything before the PS4/Xbox One/Switch), favorite sport, how was life during covid, and pretty much it.

That would have to be because of Minecraft, and I, like several people, considered it to be "2D Minecraft", though I initally got it for the 360. I don't really touch it anymore, though, since I now play the PS4 version.

This is a Nike product for Minecraft. I think it's Minecraft 2D because I usually buy it for the 360 and if I have a PS4 it's on there.

Not very often, but yes. The problem is that people keep making newer games, and I keep forgetting that some of the older ones exist.

But not much. The problem is new players and some old games are forgotten.

I don't really play very many sports, but I guess it would have to be bowling, or possibly swimming, if that counts.

He likes Nike shoes, but I think the most important sport is football or swimming.([NT] What's google tranlsate's obssesion with "Nike" all of a sudden?!

I didn't mind it at first, but it quickly became stressful, in more ways than one, though I'd rather not share as to why that is, as I feel like that would be too personal of information.

At first, it didn’t bother me, but as time went on, I became reluctant to talk, so it bothered me.

Considering that I have no idea what that is, I'm pretty sure that's a no. Also, I should probably rephrase the whole personal rule, in that it shouldn't reveal information about other people I know's info. Editing it now!

I don't know what you mean. I understand that the purpose of our privacy policy is to share personal information on business. We have to change.([NT] I don't even have a privacy policy... is Google Translate referring to THEIR privacy policy...?)

Probably the Hallow. The corruption and crimson can't get me there! (Except on 1 or 2 seeds, which I haven't tried playing on yet).

That's a hard one, to be honest. I know for certain Steampunker is one of them. (Favorite Quote from Steampunker: "I like your... gear. Does it come in brass?", and I have no idea why.) By similar logic, I would also have to say Mechanic is another one, due to me enjoying using wires and mechanisms, despite rarely using them. (Favorite Quote from Mechanic: "<Name of Tavernkeep> offered me a Root Beer, I told him to give it to me in a square cup." Ironically, I didn't realize it was a math pun until I read the fandom trying to get this quote, and that fact solidifies it's position, as I do enjoy math to some extent.) Last, but certainly not least, the Wizard. Why? Music boxes. (Favorite Quote from Wizard: "You call this lightning!? Back in my day, I .. uh.. Hmm. Oh, did you need something?" I have no idea why I like this quote, but I do.)

For functionality, I've already established Steampunker, Mechanic, and Wizard. I'd say the Nurse and Dryad would take up the 2 remaining slots, with the dryad being able to say how much of the world needs purifying(and the ability to give you a stardrop if you're holding a Joja Cola when speaking to her, which is a nice reference to Stardew Valley). As for the nurse, you can cheese some of the harder bosses with her around.

Personality, probably the zoo-ologist for starters. I'd say that the party girl would also go onto this list, though I'm not entirely sure why. The merchant as well, in the sense that he appears to be the only one who really mentions any of the bosses by name. And finally the Steampunker and Mechanic again, with them talking about gadgets and stuff.

As for quotes:
  • "Life's like a box of clothes; you never know what you are gonna wear!" - Clothier (Very much true in life.)
  • "<Name of Tavernkeep> offered me a Root Beer, I told him to give it to me in a square cup." - Mechanic (Math based puns do make me laugh a bit as well, if they're any good.)
  • "I like your... gear. Does it come in brass?" - Steampunker (Then again, so do other puns if they're good, and don't sail over my head due to lack of context.)
  • "You call this lightning!? Back in my day, I .. uh.. Hmm. Oh, did you need something?" - Wizard (I'm guessing whoever's causing the thunderstorm to occur rolled a nat 20)
  • "They say there is a person who will tell you how to survive in this land... oh wait. That's me." - Guide (This one in particular, because it made me laugh the first time I saw it. It still does from time to time!)
