SlayeroftheBad, why not use the Energy Cells used in the Lihzahrd Dungeon?
Because they're very rare and nothing in the recipe or design has anything to do/in common with the Lizhards

That would make it a very late hardmode weapon. They are a rare drop and would have to have several uses each.
It uses Chlorophyte bars (And maybe add like 7 Shroomite ars to, up the dmg by 5?), so it already is and was always meant to be.

How about removing the Chlorophyte because you need it to craft shroomite anyway. Really cool, well thought out idea.
The green on the gun made me think of Chlorophyte (The Sprite was made before the recipe), So I thought I'd leave it in there. With that, It's kinda a hella strong gun, So I thought 14 Chlorophyte would be fair, and I liked the Chloro in the design, but I needed something blue, and then I thought of Shroomite, thought I'd just split the amounts in half
 
Ok, i have occurred and idea to combine your mods (shockah) with the shields of your mod and this is the result:

See the defense and the life (that's not all the life you can have). my reaction was like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't help but notice that the health in this picture is most likely caused by the Bee Bumper glitch I found.

I quite frankly find this weapon to be OP for my mod and might just become a goto weapon of sorts, with 80 base damage (you can crank out even more damage with Ranger gear) at a speed even faster than Megashark or the OP Problem Solver. That doesn't mean I won't make it. Think of this as a standalone you can download alongside this mod when the update comes through. People will consult you for issues and you can fix it and upload it at your leisure.

It was just an idea/suggestion. you can always tweak it as you like (Maybe half the base damage?)
 
Released the update. The Gatling Laser is not yet implemented and will be as soon as possible. Have fun while you wait for it though, I'm sure you'll find the JetBacks fun!

Slime Staff recipe is 15 Wood, 80 Gel, and 1 Heart Crystal.
 
I would like to try this mod, but I don't find the download link. Is it hidden, am I blind, or is there none?
