Well can you explain what is going on? I don’t know if there is a setting for block swap, but check if there is.

you MIGHT be trying to blockswap sand, which is not intended, therefore, not possible

If not, then where the ruler setting is, there is a blockswap setting.

Definitely make sure you turn Block Swap on, and as mentioned, falling blocks do not work with Block Swap (for now, we are discussing changes).
