It's unlikely, but you might remember this fellow:
He used to live in my avatar, back in '14. Doesn't he look festive with all the bright colors? I feel happier just looking at him.
Well, bad news. That screenshot was taken in 1.2.4.1, which it would have had to for me to have been using it in '14. This is what he looks like since 1.3.0.1.:
It's evening in that screenshot, but that's not why he looks so ugly. Rainbow Dye really is that muddy and depressing now! D: Instead of bright, cheerful, aesthetically-pleasing colors, he looks like he's covered in badly-calibrated LCD.
It strikes me that the chances of this small-but-unwelcome change being reverted are pretty slim, so I'm going to suggest that the old colors be passed onto a new Bright Rainbow Dye, crafted like so:

And so you now have a choice between a friendly symphony of hues that you would expect to see in the sky, and the oversaturated, artificial wash we were recently stuck with.
