can the corruption and crimson to appear again after total destruction?

Corruption and Crimson can only appear again if you're defeating the Wall of Flesh and allow hardmode on your world. Or if you smash an Altar after fully purifying your world.

I don't think there are other sources but yourself to create crimson/corruption.
