Mobile Connection timeout when adding online server

Hi there!

I’m experiencing an issue. I’m trying to play with my brother who lives in another state. He started hosting a mobile server via pc and was able to successfully join it on his phone, but when he sent me the IP, it says connecting for about two minutes before saying connection timeout. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi there @Incorrect22, the most common issue when dealing with mobile server connections is that the port forwarding wasn successful. This article has tons of info that may help. Mobile - Terraria Mobile 1.3 Multiplayer Setup Guide
