What would you like the 1.3 update to be?

Well, despite the fact that Console Terrarians now have the full 1.2.4 update, there are already people ranting constantly because they don't have the 1.3 update and won't have it anytime soon. I'm not saying I agree with the time it takes for the update (believe me), but I don't want to cause too much of a flame war. So what are your thoughts in the matter? Discuss
 
Personally I thinks its taken too long and the content has rolled out so slowly its gotten a little bland improving my worlds with farms and new houses. I actually made a forum discussion if you go on my profile. (Excuse my rant but I was VERY frustrated at the time)
 
I'm in the camp that wishes the PC update and the console update would be simulantious. I understand why it isn't, two different companies and all that, but I play both versions and I hate not being able to do one thing in one version and not being able to do that same thing in the other. I hope the 1.3 update comes out for the consoles soon, but I also hope that it comes with no bugs/glitches and the like. Too many times has an update dropped on consoles only to be a mess... Luckily, this late update seems to be doing okay, although it did take me awhile to find where the area was to craft walls. (Chalk it up to playing Terraria late at night, I suppose.)
 
i have heard rumprs that the 1.3 update will be on june 30th. dont quote me on that though, as it will probably be 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years until 1.3 is on consoles

Xbox players actually don't have the update yet. It really is starting to grind my gears...

The developers literally just released the rest of 1.2.4 for Playstation Systems, and Xbox versions haven't gotten the update so what you are saying is truly unreasonable.
 
1.3 most likely won't be out till next year. And I would be happy with waiting that long. It takes time and a lot of effort to put a pc update on console. The rest of the 1.2.4 has only JUST come out. Give it more time.

The Xbox versions haven't even gotten the rest of the 1.2.4 update.

1.4 isn't even confirmed to be a thing, because after 1.3 update for PC, updates would slow down for the PC version....

I would say that in terms of the wait for the PC version, 1.3 was totally worth it and I guess it would be worth it for the console. My main concern is how will stuff from the 1.3 update onwards be implemented on the console. For example Yoyos. The mouse can easily control the Yoyos and if you are inexperienced, the Yoyos can feel a bit fiddly at first but it is a nice weapon. I just can't imagine how it can be implemented but I wouldn't be surprised if 505 will do some magic especially with how they squeezed in a chock full of content for the old 3DS.

Console-wise only the 3DS version concerns me despite having Terraria on each and every device at home (ps4, ps3, Wii U, Vita, each of my 3DS/new 3DS, my iPad and my android phone). I just feel the controls on the 3DS are so tight and close to perfection though the thing that concerns me the most is whether or not a large world size will come to the new 3DS and if it can handle contents from the 1.3 updates. I just wish it has a huge world size and some quality of life changes like sort inventory or something like sort chest since it really makes things feel like a breeze.

As for release date, I will not hope for anything this year but we will probably get something next year or hopefully get 1.3 at the end of 2018.

I never said that is what I expected, its just what I've HEARD.

Ok maybe not a date, but could you confirm if it will be out this year?

And I'm glad bc I might be getting a Computer in August
