After defeating the wall of flesh, Their isn't much to do in the Underworld, until now.
After defeating plantera, the message "You hear laughter far below." will display along with the others.
Going down to the underworld will spawn a demon peon. Killing it will spawn Daetan.
After that, Demon peons will be a rare spawn in the underworld. So you can summon him again.
Daetan, Lord of the Underworld
Stats:
Type: Boss
AI: Daetan
Damage: (Melee) Hands: 60 Head: 70. His body cannot do damage.
Hp: 30,000.
Defense: 35
Takes no knockback.
Coins dropped: 25 gold
Drops: 10-25 Essence of hellfire (Subject to change), Daetan mask (14.76), Daetan trophy (14.76), Damnation (25%), Eternal hellfire (25%),
Brimstone phoenix (25%), Staff of tortured souls (25%), One piece of brimstone armor. (100%), Daetan's soul (expert).
Death messages:
Player's soul was devoured.
Player is now in eternal pain.
Player now resides in a stomach full of teeth.
Player will make a tasty midnight snack.
This boss is similar to the moon lord in what his AI and basic appearance is.
He is about half the size of the moon lord and his main purpose is to train you for what its like to fight it.
His hands have holes in them as well as his chest. He has horns, wings, and looks like a giant intimidating demon.
He moves at half the speed of the moon lord.
Uses a remixed version of boss 2.
This boss has 2 phases.
Phase 1 30,000-15,000: Can be hit on the hands and the head.
Attacks: (In no particular order.)
-Opens its mouth and spews a bunch of hellbats. (10 - 15)
-Spawns 8 demon scythes from his hands. (4 each) Deals up to 48 damage.
-Opens his right hand and spawns 2 demons.
-Opens his left hand and spawns fireballs. Act exactly like a fire flower.
-Fires lasers from his eyes. Deals 55 damage.
-Spawns 2 bone serpents from his mouth and grabs them in his hands. Using them as giant swords. He can also throw them and they turn into normal bone serpents, with 2x the hp..
-Spews a stream of flames from his mouth. Deals 20 damage and burns.
Phase 2. His eyes are now popped out of his head, he is crying blood, his chest is open to reveal a giant mouth, gains another two arms, and he has a giant grin on his face.
Can be hit in the chest and the head. The chest deals contact knockback. 15,000-0
-Spawns 16 demon scythes from his hands.
-The giant mouth in the middle spawns a new type of enemy, The bone basilisk. (need stats)
-From both his left hands spawns 4 demons.
-Opens his right hands spawns a TON of fireballs.
-From his detached eyes, spawns a constant stream of lasers.
-Opens his mouth and spawns 20-30 hellbats.
-Spawns 4 bone basilisks from his chest mouth an uses them as flails. Dealing 50 damage. They can be destroyed.
-Makes both eyes fall to the ground and start rolling towards you like boulders. Dealing 70 damage.
-Roars, pushing you back.
-Spawns the starved. A buffed the hungry from his chest mouth.
Items
Essence of hellfire would be a crafting material in various items. Which I have not thought of yet.

What's so unique about it?
Killing an enemy will store their soul in the sword. Enemies must be killed by the sword.
You can have a max of 12. Each increases your damage by 5 and crit chance by 1%.
Giving you 110 damage and 16% crit chance.
Souls will disappear after 30 seconds each.
Right clicking will send out a soul with the same damage as your sword. Souls can go through walls and home on enemies. Souls hitting an enemy may apply the confused debuff. Souls look like little white orbs. Souls can hit 2 times before floating up towards the sky.
