I've uploaded a couple of game suggestion threads and for 2 of them I've made pixel art to assist with examples, for all y'all that view that stuff and reply to it does this make the thread better? Like if you see that me or somebody else posts a thread with pixel art as an example it seems to make the thread do better, does the fact that they made art for it make you more interested or something? I'm just wondering, my axolotl vanity set thread seems to be doing well and I think it might be because I attached pixel art.
this was the attached example and a lot of people have replied.
and also the thread I want to get noticed the most, my pet one about the homunculus, swamp monster and axolotl pet, I made a bunch of pixel art for every asset that a pet would use in game, it's gotten like, 400 views, I think the fact that I have literally made 2 versions of every sprite made it so it performed a little better.
< the old version of the sprites
< the new version
this is really just a theory about how to boost how many people recognize a thread, and I think this may be the biggest factor, I want to know though. it's cool that putting effort into things seems to help a lot though, because if you take time on things and put effort into it that's the stuff you want to be noticed, and if it gets noticed because you put work into it it's a win win for everybody the reader and replier to a thread gets a good thread to read and the creator of the thread gets more recognizement and feedback, I think it's super cool.
if y'all feel like replying feel free to validate my theory by giving your own opinions.
