Does Corrupiton/Crimson spread to jungle in 1.3?

i was reading the wiki just today and i found this

"As of 1.3 the Corrupiton or Crimson can no longer convert mud blocks into dirt blocks."

Its at the part where its telling about spreading.

But i noticed on my world i just got to hardmode and it seems like its still spreading to my jungle...

So im just wondering is the wiki wrong cause i cant remember anything like that in the patch notes.

And with my luck my crimson just went trought the left side of my jungle so its so its pretty close

Nope. It's just that Chlorophyte converts dirt into mud, and then mud into Chlorophyte, so it kind of acts like a natural barrier.

Either it is bugged and not working, or it takes such a long time it may as well not exist. My jungle was decimated by the corruption streak that spawns when you kill WoF, and after quite a while I see no change.
