Switch Does cross play work between Nintendo Switch and PS4?

My ps4 is under repair and I want to play multiplayer with my ps4 friend but I only have my switch? Does cross play work?

Crossplay does not work between any of Nintendo, Sony, or any Xbox console platform at this time.

Maybe someday they will.

Aw that sucks, my ps4 will hopefully come back before the school holidays but it may not. I s’pose I wont be able to do cross play… I hope that 1.4.5 adds crossplay

It will not, sadly. This is a feature that requires cooperation and permission from the console makers to implement, and Re-Logic has not yet received that from them.
