Mobile Goblin Glitch

a bug in terraria mobile is that you can't reforge any weapons when you talk to the goblin tinker. When you try to, the tinkering box turns red and rejects the items. Is there a way to stop this?

Try putting the item over the goblins head in the box before it goes to the menu where it shows what he sells
Drag the item over to it but dont wait for it to go to the menu where it shows what he sells just let go fast the item should go into the reforging box and you can reforge
Its kindof hard to explain but i hope you understood

It seems like I can only reforge stuff I had before the big update.

Really? It works fine with all weapons doing that
You ahould try again and if it rejects it try again putting it in the box

Out of my weapons in my hot bar (item slots) I couldnt reforge terra blade, venom staff, possessed hatchet, rainbow gun, picksaw, Parana? Gun, inferno fork. I could reforge a strangely spelled post OCRAM spear and something else. Weird.

If youre on iOS it should be able to work
I do it and it works just fine

With the recent update, this bug was fixed. This applied to Android but idk IOS. For the Bug, you couldnt Reforge 1.2 Weapons

Like Shadow said,you move the item to the goblin's head and drop it BEFORE the screen changes. Then go to the reforge screen and you should be able to reforge it.
Remember Drop it BEFORE the screen changes.
