That is pretty nice. I imagine they might be tied to better catches, higher fishing chances, or higher chances of getting crates, just to name a few potentials.
 
This may be a little off topic, but since the topic is kinda loose, considering the massive size of 1.3, does anyone know about Nanopi from the old Terraria forums, the person who created terraria hq2x, one of the best Terraria texture packs? If you do, please tell him/her to update the texture pack to 1.3 once it hits. So many people rely on this texture pack, and many people would be disappointed if it would not be updated for 1.3

That would be great, but a little OP imo, since with my current fishing gear ( I have the best fishing gear, angler armor, bait, you name it.) I catch about 6 golden carps in 8 minutes, which is awesome. Although my 3000 + block underground fishing pond might have something to do with that.
 
I'm a bit dissapointed with Expert Mode, I hope it changes more things other than making the bosses move faster. Still can't wait though, everything else looks awesome.
 
Everyone seems to notice the Minecart slot, but not the other new slots located directly next to it. >_>

It does. You can hardly tell how difficult or extensive something is by watching a few seconds of someone else doing it.

I can guarantee that it'll be more than just the bosses killing you. :cool:
 
Oh wow. May I ask if Expert mode is like hardcore mode (instant death), or is it just a ramped up difficulty mode with unique item rewards?

Noone would play Expert Mode if it were perma-death.

Unless you were completely insane or unimaginably good, of course.

(I'm pretty sure it will be separate.)
 
I can't be the only one who is sensing an all nighter, can I? I'll definitely be streaming this when it comes out! I'll post on my profile my info about what I'll be doing if anyone wants to watch as they play.

Okay, I figured. Just wanted to ask because I'm not a fan of perma-death modes since I end up killing myself in stupid ways frequently, so I've kinda gotten to dislike perma-death modes. XD
