Hard time farming Brain Scrambler

Does anyone else have trouble with this?

Even with a good set-up i've killed over 100+ Scuttlix Gunners and still not a single drop

It's all RNG based, it's a 1% drop. So you'll need a bit of luck. Kill enough and you'll get one eventually, hopefully.

Battle potions, water candles, and a flat spawn area. That's about all you can do.

A reminder that a 1% chance isn't "you're guaranteed one by the 100th kill"; 100 kills without a drop is a 36% chance to have happened (0.99^100 for failing 100 times in a row), so it's far from unlikely to not see one yet.

Ignore the Martian UFOs, since they provide large point boosts. Focus on killing the minor enemies, so you keep getting more of the minor enemies, and thus more Scutlix. This will also prolong an invasion, giving you more Scutlix. If there aren't many Martians on the screen, there might be a bunch of Tesla Turrets just off-screen.

(I know you said you've gotten one, but if someone else reads this thread, the advice might help them.)

thanks for that bit, I found that out too, don't kill UFO (unless you need to power-farm gold)
