Wii U HELP WITH A DELETED CHARACTER

We have Terraria for Wii U. My little boy is devastated, his character was accidently deleted. Is there anyway to recover his character?

I'm sorry to hear that J, it's especially tough when it involves the kiddos. Like R4 mentioned there's no way to get it back if you deleted it.

I'm not 100% sure that the WiiU can do it, but most consoles (Xbox, PlayStation) have the ability for you to back up player data and world data onto a USB drive. I do that with my Xbox 360 very consistently so that if anything ever happens by accident, or if a file gets corrupted I have a backup of it. Maybe take a look into that, and save your current world file to a backup USB.Then when your son starts a new character, be sure to back up the player data also.
