Mobile Hoverboard cant hover?

Weird thing is the magic carpet can hover but yet the same control was left off the hoverboard.
Why can't it just be down on mobile on both, up to "fly" like wings?

I cant get it to hover. How do you use the controls to make it hover?

Yes, there is a way to hover on Terraria Mobile, but you can't do it for ever,

You need to go underground, after defeating Wall Of Flesh, then, try to find a "Giant Bat", the GB causes "Confusion" debuff, while with Confusion Debuff, you have the power to hover
