How to play 1.1.2?

I've played terraria for a long time now and beat moon lord, played modded etc im getting bored of 1.3 and i want to go back to 1.1.2 for nostalgia purposes is there anyway to? any links to download

GOG provides several previous versions of Terraria, but I highly doubt 1.1.2 is among them. Outside of GOG there are no legal ways to play older versions of Terraria.

Nope. I believe there is a mod somewhere that lets you choose what version you want to play, but you'll have to google it, I don't remember how it's called.

GoG only provides the latest version.

That's the mod/tool I meant.
Seems it hasn't been updated in a long while and doesn't work anymore.

As far as I'm aware, it doesn't. Even if it did, it's not officially endorsed.

Well, There IS however a (seemingly) official way to play Terraria 1.0.6.1 (The update before hardmode). But I do recommend backing up your current saves before trying that.

Go to the location where the Terraria files are saved. (C: > Program files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > Common > Terraria) There, you'll find a map called "Older versions". and you can find the maps of the very first version and version 1.0.6.1 of Terraria.

I found those files once while I was bored, and I've also decided to play them for nostalgia purposes, and they do work too!

I've no idea how and why those files are there, but these get downloaded when you download the official Terraria file, so there's that.
