Do you have a link to the laptop? That alone doesn't tell me what I need to know about it.
 
The couple Acer Aspires I3 that I saw on that page will not work for you based on RAM alone. You need to get one with at least 6 and those only have 4.
 
If you only get 4GB of RAM then you will get an OOM exception on large and possibly medium worlds (meaning you won't be able to play on them without crashing). It also means you won't be able to use most mods.

The reccommended RAM for Terraria is 4GB, but the OS and other background applications would need to use RAM too. So in total your computer would need 6 GB of RAM to have everything function correctly.

Does that make sense?

Yes, so long as the I3 or I5 is packaged with the Intel UHD 620 you should be good to go.

Also the acer aspire I want to buy has an intel core i3 uhd620 graphics
And 4gbram and not a solid state drive but I on it you can upgrade the ram and the drive so I will buy another crucial 4gb ram and a 500gb ssd is that okay

If you, or someone you know, knows how to install it that would be fine. Make sure you know what type of RAM and SSD to buy. Once you link the laptop to me I can also tell you what kind to buy.
