I've checked your file and the version number (the very first piece of information within the file) is corrupted, indicating a full data corruption. However, it does seem to contain some comprehensible data, so something went very wrong when writing to it. I'll pass it on to the devs, maybe they can find something out from it.

Hello, a similar thing has happened to me too! Character was created shortly after the release of 1.4, was a Journey mode character and I only used it in one world I created with him, always on singleplayer. However I noticed he was corrupted only after I played with my cousin on his server with another journey mode character, and I'm pretty sure that when I started the game before joining the server he wasn't corrupted. Dunno if what I said is useful in any way, but it's the most info I can think of about the circumstances.
