Hmm, it seems like something I might add to my game to make a bit more lively, I'll support this.

Nice idea! Would work well with the 1.3 update making NPCs more lively! ^_^

Love the idea, the speech bubbles kinda sound more starboundish, after all you can directly converse with NPC's unlike it.
Hopefully the Devs will have somthing like this in Terraria 2 or Terraria OW.
