tModLoader Is it possible to make artifical granite and/or marble biomes in space? (i have thorium, calamity, and some qol mods)

i wanted to make artificial granite and marble biomes in the sky to fight the granite energy storm and buried champion respectively in a more convenient space instead of underground. can i make that? i've already started construction of the sky granite biome with unsafe granite walls and granite blocks, but no granite enemies have spawned up there yet. pls help

Granite walls do not constitute a granite cave, nor does marble. For granite/marble enemies to spawn you only need the corresponding blocks to be nearby, the enemies will spawn a lot more often if you are standing on the block and having more of the block nearby will increase the rate that they spawn.
If none of this works for you, it might mean that granite/marble caves can only work underground. The thorium mini-biome bosses are designed around not needing a large space to work with, they should be doable in their underground homes.
