Console is this big enough?

im working on a solo frostmoon farm to get to wave 20 i was just wondering if i set it up in the middle with an island in the middleof a pool of lava at ground level with a platform 38 blocks up would it be big enough to keep mobs from spawning anywhere but the island or the lava, and how large should the island be for optimal spawning?

You need to fill in all of those caves.

You're gonna want the land strip to be about 20 blocks long (the length of a Lihzahrd Flame Trap's fire jet).

lol that is oddly specific and the wanter ill just drain and cap off the hole would you say 100 block down should be good enough to fill inn all those caves?

100 blocks down as in you mining more or 100 blocks down as in 100 buckets of lava?

Happydays has a great moon arena build to show you the restrictions on the spawns, I've only been able to get to wave 18 solo tho. Darn those ice queen not sitting still

as in me mineing tunnels to drain wanter and caping it off at 100 blocks below ground level
