Lava Bats spawn in Meteorite areas.

I was in a meteorite area in a Crimson biome on the surface and noticed the presence of Lava Bats. My world is in post-Plantera hardmode.

I don't think its a bug, but an extra improvement added by 505 Games so spice up the meteorite biomes.

It's possible, but Lava bats spawning in meteorite biomes just seems bizarre.

I somehow neglected to look it up, though Lava Bats aren't really what you would expect to see outside of Hell.

Well to me it seems normal for a bat made of lava to come out of a crashed meteorite. If it was a hell bat it would be out of place though.

That's an interesting one. I see it's included in the wiki that lava bats spawn in meteor biomes. But I also see that 505Games-Mobile was looking into it in the Addressing the "Non-Critical" Mobile Terraria Bugs thread as a possible bug.

· We have not yet reproduced this, but are investigating it.
· Also must have more than 50 meteorite blocks in place for Meteor Heads to still spawn. Where was the meteor biome located? Do you have an image?

So that's cool that now 505Games-Mobile has a screen shot from you.
