Mobile Lepus Glitch

Hey guys, when I used the suspicious looking egg to summon lepus, he didn't spawn but his music was still playing. I tried walking away and into the crimson (which is far away) and the music was still playing. Will my world be like this forever?

Did you try turning it off and back on again (i.e. fully close the game and come back)?
