Hello,
As many of you may know, MacOS Catalina has removed the use of 32bit applications, this includes Terraria.

I am wondering if there is a work in progress of an update for Terraria on the Mac to provide the Mac fanbase with a 64bit version of the app as that is what mac applications can only run at.

For me, it says that it may not run but it still does. The game works perfectly fine for me but if I try to install tmodloader then terraria gets the same problem as the other 32bit applications and wont open. I do not know if there are any 64bit version

Mine was working fine on Catalina until today, when it won't get past the 'Re-Logic' loading page. It just crashes and quits Terraria and Steam.

Gonna back-up my files and downgrade back to Mojave.

yes, it is recommended that you back up all your files beforehand (of course) but you can go back to mojave or high sierra (or later maybe, idk) from catalina

using a thingermajigger you can go back to REALLY old versions of computers
