Just west of spawn, this corrupted palm tree is on an uncorrupted hardened sand block, nowhere near corruption, and its one-hit breakable ( i guess because it updates and sees its not on a block trees can be on ). When i broke it, it gave me regular palm wood. It seems the corruption is just visual, but this confuses me. Since I don't know how everything works, and i found it in journey mode, i checked classic which is the seed given, and nothing changed, so i supplied that one to negate any restrictions from Journey mode.
