Items Make the flare gun a secondary chest item

The flare gun is probably the worst thing you can get from a golden chest. Still it is usable as upgrade to glow sticks and to set enemies on fire. So i propose for it to be moved to a secondary item, ask yourself if you would rather have a flare gun or a suspicious looking eye.

Makes sense, because even when i start a new game, and the first "gun" failure I find is that, i just pawn it off to one of the npcs because its nearly useless.

Yeah it's definitely not preferable over Hermes Boots or a Cloud in a Bottle.
Or a Lava Charm.

Idk what you're talking about, the flare gun is the strongest weapon in the game, it's already absurd you can get it so early, why should it be made even easier.
It's always annoying finding one instead of a magic mirror/hermes boots/cloud.
I only need the lava charm if I make a mistake around lava, and I make it a personal goal not to make mistakes around lava.

Well in my Thoruim playthrough I did make Lava Warders so I could make the Firestorm boots and I have to say 7 seconds is not enough.

Actually, with the Lava Waders, it's full-on 14 seconds. and that STILL isn't enough.

It's like you need more than 1 pair of hermes boots too. Secondary chest item is what is useful more than once, primary is useful only once.

There are so many different kinds of boots which do the same thing (flurry, hermes, sailfish) that I honestly don't think any of these arguments even apply.
Also you friended me on steam you totally could just randomly invite me and say "play terraria with me pls"

I always forget about the sailfish boots, and I suppose flurry boots could also be relevant to this topic as they spawn in chests.
I'm currently playing with some mods so I'd have to disable them.

Tbh that's fine. Ice skates only "help" with 3 blocks in the entire game anyway (colored ice doesn't count.)
