Maybe a stupid question... how to make a banner?

ok i dont know where to post this but i need help, i want to create a banner for my adventure map but i dont know how.

Banners can be made a looms with silk, but mob banners are only obtained by killing 50 specific mobs

took me a while to fix this. cause it kept being screwy with me lol
