Wouldn't you want to bottle one up...

The memory in a jar is an interesting one basically it is like a recall potion except it teleports you to the exact spot that it was made.

How to craft
1 Bottle
1 Fallen Star
1 Memory Card: (traded by merchant after 3 days of him living there, also takes 15 copper)
[max stack is only 1]

The catch is that when you use it, it may occasionally backfire and give you a vison based debuff...

When crafted you will need to name so as to tell them apart.

World Jumping:
When a jar is crafted in one world and taken into another the player when using it must wait for the world to generate as well as an instant debuff warp sickness

Warp Sickness: player is slightly slower, blinded, and can't warp using any teleporting type item for 3 minutes

This is a pretty neat idea, and it seems pretty fair. I think that is is balanced enough as well.

This is not only a neat idea for the average Terrarian but also a great thing for adventure map builders
Support!

Where can it be crafted? Just at a workbench of just everywhere? But anyway sound like a handy and a fair item.

any where because that is how it regesters where to teleport to.

I'd imagine this like a replay mechanic, so that you could kinda film your first encounter with Skeletron or something, but this is cool. Fast travel is really appreciated.

Hmph, definitely an interesting concept, I haven't seen one like it before. Would be pretty handy, and I'd imagine it would be a tangible idea to have implemented in the game. Sure, why not?

I'd love to see this item in Terraria, we do need something like this that is pretty cheap to make.

Maybe have the tooltip be the location of where it was created? That way you know exactly where you will go to.

I find it annoying when I can't just teleport between worlds its a very good idea :)

I had a fast travel thing in one of my suggestions, this has an advantage and a disadvantage. This can get you underground if you want and it is cheaper to make. The disadvantage is that you have to make more after consuming it...unless you make it an infinite use item that is.

Ye it's a cool idea :)

I would say slightly unbalanced.... basically a teleporter or a magic mirror, except you don't have to wire across the whole world and you can go basically anywhere you want..... maybe make it HM only and have a long delay on teleport, like 5 seconds, and if ur hit during that time then it cancels

If you could teleport between worlds, wouldn't you have to wait for it to load the world first?

That's why I put that poll up on world teleporting

This might make bosses too easy to avoid

Eh i like this just because it looks cool. i mean a long as you kept the items with you, you can empty ur inventory and then insta return back to mining or whatever you were doing

This is a pretty neat idea, I can see it having so many uses. Would it be like the Compass/GPS and be tied to the exact location, or would it be tied to a crafting station, say you make a workbench, place it and craft it there? In other words, would it store the axis-relative location of the block it was crafted at, or a certain item location, because that could alter the amount of cache memory required to use it.
