Weapons & Equip Merge throwing into melee

With the confirmation that Throwing won't be expanded on (Cenx recently mentioned that on Discord), I think to then completely merge Throwing items into Melee archetype. Existant weapons of Throwing damage become Melee damage.

Throwing armors (Ninja and Fossil) are changed to have Melee dmg/speed/crit (now with these and ALL MELEE SETS affecting Throw dmg/speed/crit as those weapons now are Melee), and all Melee sets in general now have added small non-consumption chance (Ninja and Fossil keep more chance than normal). +%ThrowVelocity is either removed from them or added to them and all other Melee sets.

Throwing weapons already rely on staying inside an inner half range/mid-range at most to attack, unlike Ranged/Magic characters which usually keep enforcing as much distance as they can get, while at the same time Melee generally has a notable lack of demanded mid-range DPS especially for boss fights, and also, Melee compared to Ranged/Magic has no "limited resource" feature to take use of. Merging Throwing into Melee will nicely make Melee-focused play more viable in general, giving it limited-use farmable/craftable throwing weapons that allow it actual mob-capable and boss-capable ranged DPS and AoE (single-hit throwables, Dwarf grenades, beenades), plus spikyballs/molotovs for a bit of utility that needs you to start close to the target area, while still not having as much long-range capability or reliability as either Ranged-focused or Magic-focused playing. After all, you probably would have memory of beating Eye of Cthulhu or Skeletron having some throwing items instead of a crafted sword or chest spear.

Simply putting them together as Melee makes Melee more generally viable in a good way, while also buffing Throwing at the same time by allowing it loads more armors with stats for them and more weapon choices for free that stick to its playstyle much more than a Ranger playthrough if they were to become Ranged damage instead. (and Ranged archetype, on another note, is about getting and upgrading bows/guns and the ammo-buying/crafting for those; even though both are about "crafting limited weapons", Ranged has no synergy with adding craftable limited-use throwing weapons to use alternatively to your main ranged weapons that already probably have better range&damage and scale over progression much better than throws, along with your main ammos you're already supposed to focus on stockpiling to be using, unlike how absolutely special it would be if it got along with Melee, both in capability and meaningful fun reasons for grinding for them)
This way even the solar spear would look special as it already is an ultimate throwing javelin that doesn't even have limited uses.
 
Since Throwing class used to be ranged, and still act as ranged because of their limited resources, I think the most logical option is that it would revert back to ranged.
(That is, if it'll ever happen, it's already been confirmed long ago that throwing class won't be expanded)

Ranged is lacking an early game armor and early crowd control. Something that both Melee has already.
