Here are two new staffs. These are a BOTH turret summonables.

Mimic Staff

dropped by Mimic (14.5%)

37 Damage
0 Knockback
Costs 5 Mana
Summons mimics that puke random stuff onto enemies
"Puke with 4 new flavours : Dagger, Clothes, Hook and Necklace"
Sells for 1 Gold Coin

Bombardement Staff

Sold by Pirate for 35 Gold Coins after Plantera is defeated.

40 Damage
5 Knockback
Costs 5 Mana
Summons cannons to rain cannonballs down on your foes.
"Fire away!"
Sells for 7 Gold Coins

that's it really, comment on your ideas for the improvement of this suggestion! (These are meant to be gotten at different times, if this is added, then the turret staffs will be at these progress points : Early Hardmode (Spider Staff), Mid-Hardmode (Mimic Staff), Post-Plantera (Bombardement Staff) and HM Dungeon (Staff of Frost Hydra). But anyways, remember to comment about changes!

The damages are pitiful for a summoner tower, seriously, 25? try somewhere like 35-45.

That aside it's not a bad idea, I don't support it but I wouldn't mind if it was added.
