Skeletron Prime
these are some boss and invasion boss ideas I had, and hopefully they're added in game or someone's mod
(also if you want to make spirtes, post them in your reply, and it would help to make minimap icons as well, it would be greatly appreciated)

this would be a boss that would be a 'trigger' between early prehardmode and late preharmode. apon death it would say the message "the ancient spirits of light and dark are stirring...", and the old man would spawn at the dungeon and voodoo demons would start spawning. it's sprite would be like the ice golem with a stone theme, but not a recoulour. it would be spawned in the cavern layer using the arcane gemstone, crafted using 1 of each gem, 5 fallen stars, and 5 shadow scales/tissue samples.

ATTACKS:
jumps up and stomps on you (like a mimic)
leaps at you if you get to far away
fires arcane lasers
throws explosive boulders
rains large gems that go though walls
summons earthen elementals (similar to their granite counterparts)

DROPS
the boulder (flail, explodes on enemy contact)
mystic string (bow, shoots arcane lasers instead of arrows)
gem fury (spell book, rains large gems from the sky, acts like a downgraded lunar flare)
rock scepter (sentry, shoots exploding boulders in an upwards arc, like a volcano)
boulders (throwing, acts like exploding spiky balls)

EXPERT
it's custom ai for expert would be a second form where its arms and head detach from its body, similar to skeletron, after reaching critical health. it's item would be the stone emblem, accessory, it would have a 10% chance to turn enemies to stone when hitting them

this would be an early hardmode boss, right after wof. the sprite would be a hallowed helmet, breastplate, and arms (all one sprite, this isn't a skeletron copy). it would be spawned in 'pure hallow' (can't be summoned in a hallow desert or hallowed ice biomes) using the holy grail, crafted using 15 souls of light, 5 titanium/adamantite bars, and 1 light shard, alternatively it could be spawned by killing a possessed hallowed armour.

holy lance (spear, summons a holy spirit when hitting enemies that home in on them)

prophecy (staff, shoots homing holy fireballs, and right click fires a heat ray-like light beam)
holy spirit staff (summon, summons a holy ghost that switches between constanly dealing contact damage and shooting holy blasts)
holy hand grenade (grenade, apon detonation it flashes the screen, stunning nearby enemies)
hallowed bars (I feel this would be more fitting, instead the mech bosses would drop mech plating, which would craft something different which I will list at the bottom of this spoiler)

EXPERT
it's custom ai for expert would be firing a holy deathray, like the moon lord. it's items would be the blessed armour.
as of now I have only come up with the set bonus:
spawns damaging holy flames while standing still, spawns damaging holy light while walking (like the spirit mods crystal shield or calamity's leviathan ambergris)

the mech armour would be more like a weapon than an armour set, because it would be part of my other suggestion, the armourer class (if you don't know what that is, its in my suggestions tab in my signature called new class). the set bonus would be left click to fire lasers, right click to fire rockets, and the ultimate would be to call apon the 3 (maybe 4 with tremors motherboard) mech bosses to assist you in combat (they're just really powerful minions)

this would be a late hardmode, post plantera worm boss. it would be fought in the corruption and you would spawn it by right-clicking the snake shrine structures that spawn on the surface of the corruption. it's sprite would be a cursed flame snake in ebonstone armour plates. it has 2 phases, first every one of its segments are connected like the destroyer. in the second phase it loses the ebonstone plating, and all of its segments have their own health bars.

cursed staff (summon, summons a cursed fire basilsk that grows each time you summon it (like stardust dragon)
ebon shuriken (throwing, apon hitting an enemy it latches on to it like expert skeletron)
(has a second set of weapons but are just the corruption version of the crimson core's weapons)

EXPERT
it's custom ai for expert would be spawning a 'shade' of itself on second form. its item would be the snake head, accessory, which adds cursed flames to all weapons, and adds a cursed flame aura

this would be a late hardmode, post plantera boss. it would be fought in the crimson and you would spawn it by right-clicking the brain idol structures found on the surface of the crimson. its sprite would be a red and black oval with veins of yellow representing ichor. it has 2 phases, first there are 4 'core fragment' enemies orbiting it, making it invincible. in the second phase it splits in the middle revealing a blood sphere and its vulnerable.

ichoric javelin (throwing, inflicts ichor and explodes on enemy contact)
(has a second set of weapons but are just the crimson version of the basilisk's weapons)

EXPERT
it's custom ai for expert is it respawns the core fragments every 25% damage you do to it. it's item is the ichor core, accessory, which adds ichor to all weapons, and adds an ichor aura

this would be an early prehardmode boss right after eoc fought in the mushroom biome. it spawns when you kill the pulsating morel. it's sprite would be a bigger granite golem-looking thing (the angle the granite golem is in, not the actual sprite) with mushrooms.

fungal tome (book, shoots fungal spores that travel then slow down (like the death sickle) and right click does the opposite)
morel staff (summon, summons a stationary mushroom that shoots spores in all directions)
mushy knives (throwing, ignores gravity)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert would be that it slams its fist into the ground, creating support mushrooms that heal and buff it, you have to kill these. its item would be the glowing brand, accessory, which makes all projectiles pierce and increases their speed

this would be an invasion early hardmode, right after beating the wof. it calls them using the spirit stone, made from 10 souls of light, 10 souls of night, 1 light shard, 1 dark shard, 5 crystal shards, and 5 cursed flame/ichor. apon summoning it,instead of it saying its normal message it says "the ancient spirits of light and dark are getting aggressive

cursed strider (fast ground mob, leaps at you (like a mimic))
virulent burner (probe ai, shoots cursed fireballs)
vile charger (tanky, fast, and blows up into cursed fireballs on contact with you)
cursed flier (hovers above you and rains down cursed flames)
shadow stomper (big mob that rapidly shoots corrupter projectiles)
vile spirit (charges horizontally like the things the goblin summoner spawns while shooting vile spitballs)

if you have crimson in your world
abomination (flies around randomly, rapidly spewing ichor streams)
bloody walker (slowly walks toward you, shooting blood clots and ichor streams)
blood wraith (has 2 forms, first is a wraith ai, second is a horizontal flying phase much like the goblin summoner minions
fleshy mess (unicorn ai, sometimes stops and shoots ichor streams at you)
gore bat (charges at you like the queen bee and splits into more of it on death)
golden soul (slowly wanders around, sometimes releasing a blast of ichor all around it, sometimes firing a continuous stream of it at you)

MINIBOSSES
spirit of light (charges at you, stops and shoots exploding illumanite bolts and crystal fragments that split, and summons mini spirits of light)

sword of light (sword, shoots three homing yellow after-images)
crystal scepter (staff, shoots a crystal shard that splits up multiple times during flight and home in on enemies)
illume javelin (throwing, sticks into enemies and deals constant damage (like the calamity P90))

spirit of night (there are 2 varients of this, the corruption and crimson. they both charge at you and summon their vareints of mini spirits. corruption spirit stops and shoots exploding vile bolts and cursed fireballs. the crimson spirit stops and shoots exploding blood bolts and ichor streams

drops
cleanser (gun, rapid and inaacurate, turns musket balls into homing vile or blood bullets)
night staff (summon, summons either a cursed or ichor spirit. the cursed spirit attacks enemies with cursed fireballs while the ichor one fires ichor streams)
corrumson armour (this is from my armourer suggestion) (left click to shoot a cursed flamethrower, right click to fire a shotgun blast of ichor, ultimate would summon a crused ichor spirit)

this would be a boss that would be an ice biome equivalent to plantera, and its sprite would be a giant ice crystal. it would be spawned in the underground ice biome by mining the mini glacier. its sprite would be a giant ice crystal, like the etherian mana, but bigger. it has 2 phases, first it stays in one place held by ice crystals which project a beam to it, holding it in place and making it invincible, second it teleports around like a martian saucer. in the second form its crystal splits open, making it look granite elemental-like.

glacier staff (summon-sentry hybrid, summons an ice crystal that stays where it's summoned, but takes up regular minion slots, shooting frost bolts rapidly)
frozen orb (throwing, shoots the ice ball the lunatic cultist fires)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert modes would be a third phase, where it starts spinning and shoots frosty versions of heat rays in a position like tremor's cog lord, exept they would be spinning, like the erchius horror from starbound. at 25% life, there would be 4 more in an x shape. its expert item would be the everfrost catalyst, accessory, which gives you a glacial aura, and if normal enemies come in that aura they get the frozen bebuff

this would be a boss that would be a desert equivalent to plantera. it would be spawned in the underground desert by mining a strange sand pile. it would have 2 phases. first it would crawl on the walls like a spider, second it would gain more attacks and speed. its sprite would look like a giant sand poacher in the first phase, and in its second it would get purple markings all over it.

clawtrap (book, shoots a controllable claw attacted to you like a harpoon, and traps enemies that come in contact with it)
venom staff (summon, summons a sand poacher that sticks to walls and has three attacks: venom spit, stinging charge, and claw stun)
stinger (throwing, homes in on enemies)

EXPERT
its custom ai would be gaining more defense as its health lowers. its custom item would be the venom sack, accessory, which spawns mini scorpians when hitting enemies with any weapons

this would be a post-golem boss that is three bosses mashed into one, like trinity or ragnarok. it would be summoned using the terrarian gem, crafted using 1 corrupt shard (dropped by corruption monsters), 1 crimshard (dropped by crimson monsters) and 1 holy shard (dropped by hallow monsters). the bosses would be viruleant (the corruption spirit), bloodiluim (the crimson spirit) and crysys (the hallow spirit.) viruleant would look like a harvester from crea with the spirit shadow shot gun theme. bloodilium would look like a large crimera with 4 jaws, like the tail of thorium's abbysion. crysys would look like a pink pulsing torso with crystal shards on it. viruleant and bloodilium would have second forms, but not crysys. in the second form, viruleant would reveal cursed flame body, and bloodilium an ichor body. crysys's ai is like retanizer and that it switches from on top of the screen to the side.

bloodshed (melee, spins a cleaver-like baton that creates a huge blood explosion when enemies are killed)
crystal storm (flamethrower, shoots a spread of crystal shards, like the overloaded blaster from calamity)
hex rifle (gun, shoots a high-velicity piercing bullet along with an innacurate 3-round burst)
bloodbath (bow, shoots a spread of 6 exploding blood arrows, right-clicking shoots homing ichor arrows rapily)
holy beam (tome, shoots a pink beam, like the last prism)
cursed infernal sceptre (magic, shoots a cursed soul that homes in on enemies, pierces, and goes through walls)
crimrose (magic, shoots a crimson beam, like the shadowbeam staff that doesn't bounce, that rains ichor globs. lasts for 5 seconds)
essence of the trinity (summon staff, summons one of the three scourges of the trifectal, does all the attacks of the bosses, only one can be summoned at a time, and it takes up 2 summon slots (also a tremor reference))
javelin of the world (throwing, throws one of three javelins, crystal homes, cursed goes through blocks, and ichor explodes and pierces)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert would be that each one gets stronger if one of them is killed, like the shadow pieces in don't starve. its custom item would be the three colour gem, accessory, all hallow, corruption, and crimson enemies take damage when they are on the screen, melee weapons have a chance to fire different projectiles, swords would shoot expanding wave, spears would shoot a heat ray beam that goes through walls, flails would shoots shockwaves in all directons, yoyos would fire homing energy, all ranged projectiles now home, explode, pierce, and go through walls, magic weapons mana cost would be cut in half, and magic damage would inflict a multitude of debuffs, and +10 max minions, and every minion summoned doubles summon damage. if anyone thinks that this is too op, I intend the trifectal to be an extremely hard boss, and the expert stat boost would be really big

this boss would be fought post-plantera. when you defeat plantera, there would be a message that says "mysterious drones have appeared out of nowhere". there would be xerium drones that spawn all over the map. you would have to kill 5 of them, like pillars with the moon lord, or abyssion from thorium, and they would drop xerium cores, which would be used to craft things later. once you kill 5 drones a message would appear "something has spotted your presence", and after 20 seconds the xerium supercommando would spawn. its sprite would resemble a storm diver, with a shotgun, but with a neon green and silver theme, and it would be slightly taller than the player. it would have 2 forms, in the first one he has a jetpack, which you have to hit, second he would be on the ground, but doesn't do the shoulder ram attack. after you kill it, there will be a message that says "the xerium army is invading from another dimension".

xerium boomstick (shotgun, turns all bullets into xerium rounds, that go through walls and pierce enemies, has a chance to let off explosive rounds, and right-click shoots an unstable explosive beam)
star caller (magic, rains down homing exploding comets that go through walls, also a thorium reference)
drone staff (summon, summons a drone to shoot lasers and rockets at enemies, and while they're out you gain a defense boost)
gravnade (throwing, throws a blackhole grenade that sucks enemies in and spawns a blackhole that deals constant damage at the blast zone)

EXPERT
its custom expert ai would be to summon 4 drones at half health in his first phase, the drones would project a shield around him. they would fly around freely, not like the crimson core. each one killed makes the shield less visible. its custom item would be the drone deployer, accesroy at 5% life 3 drones with 500 health would spawn. they would be friendly, like town npcs that can't defend themselves. while they are out, a shield surrounds you, making you invincible and killing enemy projectiles, so you could potentially shield your drones

this event would start right after killing the xerium supercommando, and would be a wave event. the xerium mothership would fly down and hover above a certain spot, and this is where the mobs will spawn. its sprite would look like the cockpit of a human ship from starbound mirrored, and it would be huge.

wave two
xerium turret, fires energy bursts rapidly and teleports
xerium tower, beefier version of the xerium turrets, doesn't teleport
xerium gravity engineer, sets down 'gravity zones' that give you the distorted debuff, and throws gravity grenades that suck you in
xerium mechahound, a mechanical hound that deals insane contact damage and runs at you really fast

wave three
xerium chaingunner, a heavily armoured xerium soldier with a gatling gun
xerium obliterator, another heavily armoured xerium soldier with a rocket launcher with a big blast radius
xerium annihilator, another heavily armoured xerium soldier with a flamethrower that spews neon flames when you get close to it

wave four
xerium ultratrooper, an even more armoured xerium soldier, has three attacks, rocket launcher arm cannon which fires rockets rapidly, duel machine gun arm cannons, which fire lasers more rapidly that to more damage than the xerium chaingunner and fire twice as fast, and a flamethrower with more range and spread than the xerium annihilator, and can sometimes summon one of the previous enemies from wave 3

xerium sniper, slowly walks and positions itself, charges up and fires a heat-ray like beam and does massive damage
xerium elite trooper, extremely mobile, has an upgraded xerium laser rifle, with higher rate of fire, a small booster on its back, occasionally dodges your attacks, and throws gravity grenades

wave seven
xerium probe, shoots explosive bolts
xerium drone MII, upgraded stats, fires beams and homing energy missles instead of lasers and rockets, as well as neon flamebursts
xerium bomber, heavily armoured troop with a jetpack, hovers above you shooting down energy rockets
xerium cannon, stationary, fires heavy energy shells that are affected by gravity and have a huge blast radius

wave eight
xerium HIHC (high impact hovering cannon) miniboss, more detail at the bottom...
xerium cannons receive heavy buffs

wave nine
xerium mech, different variations with different arm cannons: neon flamethrower, energy rocket launcher, black hole cannon (projectile slows down and sucks you in), gatling gun, and heavy beam cannon (exploding heat ray). is piloted by a xerium elite trooper, and it pops out when killed
energy portal, robot-like enemy, walks around shooting exploding beams, and transforms down into a turret-like thing and opens a portal, and either one of 3 things can happen, either a huge deathray like the moon lord will come out, 5 of any mob from the event will spawn, or it could destabilize and cause a nuke-level explosion (and probably crash your computer :p)

the mothership will start attacking. more detail at the bottom...

MINIBOSSES
xerium troop craft (drops down 10 xerium soldiers and 10 xerium jetpack troopers, and occasionally a xerium ultratrooper when at low health, flys horizontally above you, shooting down 3-round bursts of exploding xerium energy bolts, and fires a barrage of missiles)

military staff (summon, summons either a xerium soldier or a xerium jetpack trooper to shoot enemies)

xerium HIHC (high impact hovering cannon) (hovers around and stops in place when it's ready to attack, fires a heavy laser with a huge blast radius, switches out to a gatling gun, switches out to a deathray cannon)

xerium annihilator (sword, fires a xerium energy rocket that has a huge explosion when you hit an enemy. if an enemy is hit by the blade, several homing energy orbs will appear from off-screen and explode into multiple homing energies)
blackhole mine (flail, breaks off the chain into a blackhole that sucks in enemies and explodes when it lands 4 hits on enemies)
xerium handgun (ranged, charges and fires and exploding bolt. if the beam hits an enemy, the next one becomes a homing shot)
energy launcher (rocket launcher, fires 5 homing energy rockets in a row. right-click charges and fires a slow moving orb projectile that is surrounded by a damaging aura)
mothership cannon (magic gun, fires a beam that cannot move, like the charged blaster cannon. the beam does not last long and can be fired without a charge)
xerium gauntlet (magic, summons a controllable black hole projectile that consumes mana while it is alive, sucks enemies in and damages them)
portal staff (sentry, summons a stationary robotic portal that fires small deathrays at enemies)
xerium probe staff (summon, summons a xerium probe that follows your cursor and shoots rockets at enemies. only one can be summoned at a time)
xerium shuriken (throwing, ignores gravity, if it hits an enemy it will chain to a different enemy)
grav glove (throwing, consumes gravnades and throws high velocity gravity bombs that home in on enemies)

this boss would be fought post-plantera. it would be summoned using the eye of eclipse, crafted using 1 mechanical eye and 10 ectoplasm. it would be like the twins, but doubled, making it 4 eyes, one for each direction. its sprites would resemble purple eyes, more like orbs of energy, with energy seeping out the back. It has 2 forms, in the first form, only one is vulnerable, and the other 3 are invincible. once you kill the one that Is vulnerable, it becomes invincible and the next one clockwise from the first one becomes vulnerable, until all four have been killed. in the second phase they are no longer connected and attack differently. in the first phase they can all attack randomly

blackhole scepter (magic, shoots out a ball of energy that gets bigger. right-click to shatter all active energy balls, making them split into 8 homing energy)
monostaff (sentry, summons a dark monolith with 4 orbiting masses of energy, the energy latches on to enemies and ignore they're immunity frames)
dark knife (throwing, when you hit an enemy, more daggers will appear behind you to strike enemies like a cross between the influx waver and sky fracture)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert would be that there would be a small dark core that orbites the player, in the first phase all 4 eyes are immune to damage, until you kill the core, then It goes into second form. its custom item for expert would be the dark core, accessory, summons 4 dark shields to orbit you, absorbing damage

this boss would be fought post-plantera. it would be summoned using the elemental worm, crafted using 1 mechanical worm and 10 ectoplasm. this boss would be a HUGE worm boss. its body, head, and tail sprites would be super wide, and it would have a massive amount of segments (just enough so it doesn't lag your game ;) ). its attack patterns and sprite would change depending on what biome you would be in. all its hitboxes would be connected like the destroyer. if you stay in a biome for too long it starts to gain stats to his damage, speed, and defense.

elemental essence (book, fires a single bolt that costs all your mana, goes through walls homing in on enemies and pierces infinitely)
world biome scepter (summon, unique summon staff that summons a temporary minion based off the mobs that spawn in the biome you are in)
elemental grenade (throwing, explodes into homing energy of the different biomes)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert is that it has a second form where it turns into a rainbow worm when killed, and its hitbox works like the eow. its custom item would be the terrarians soul, accessory, +200 max life, all weapons inflict random debuffs, plus debuffs depending on the biome you're in

this boss would be fought post-plantera. it would be summoned using the skull of damnation, crafted using 1 mechanical skull and 10 ectoplasm. this boss would act similar to skeltron, except his hands are invincible. its sprite would resemble a skull, with a hood and flaming eyes behind it. it would have 2 phases, one where his head is vulnerable, after you kill it it stays as a ghost, and the hands detach and you have to kill both hands

ATTACKS
spins in place and summons lost souls, with dungeon spirit ai
hands summon vengeful spirits, same ai as shadowflame apperation
summons ghostly visions, worm with crawltipete ai
summons a soul core, which summons ancient souls, that shoot light beams at the player

string of the undead (bow, arrows leave behind ghostly energy that damages enemies, homing souls spawn when an arrow comes into contact with blocks, but not enemies)
otherworldly wand (magic, spawns a singularity that spawns souls to home in on enemies)
nerco staff (summon, summons a necro soul, similar to the stardust guardian sprite-wise, takes up 2 minion slots and you can only have one active. summons lost souls, flying minions that charge at enemies, undead warriors, ground minions that either melee or shoot enemies, and spirit skulls, flying minions that shoot enemies. there can be an inifinite amount of these side enemies.
necro glove (throwing, upgraded bone glove, shoots spectral bones that home and are unaffected by gravity)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert is that you have to fight it in the dungeon, and it summons souls wells more frequently. its custom item for expert is the necrotic skull, accessory, +5 minion slots, and all projectiles home

this boss would be fought post-mech. it would be summoned using the mechanical altar, which is placeable. when each mech boss is killed, it spawns a ruined mech part in the world, similar to plantera's bulb. it would only spawn in explored areas. you can mine them and combine each mech part to create the mechanical altar. you must hook it up with a switch and some wire, an activate the switch to summon cyberius. its sprite would resemble a figure much bigger than the player, with a jetpack. he would attack using different arm weapons and flying ai patterns. 1. flies horizontally at the top of the screen raining down projectiles 2. acts like the twins, switching from different sides of the screen 3. stays in one place, with his rate of fire increased.

barrage (rocket launcer, fires a homing missile with a slow rate of fire. right click to fire a burst of 6 regular rockets)
railgun (magic gun, fires a heat ray that explodes)
beacon tome (book, rains rockets from above)
targeter staff (summon, sort of a unique weapon. apon use a red beacon will appear, similar to the clinger staff, and second use will set another. between these two beacons 5 drones will fly between them and rain down rockets on the target zone)
drone staff (summon, summons a swarm of drones, 4 per one slot)
mecha javelin (throwing, rains lasers down, like the solar javelin from spirit)
mini fist (throwing, throws a fist unaffected by gravity that explodes)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert would be summoning lesser versions of the mech bosses every 20% life lost. its custom item for expert would be the metal skin, accessory, 40% damage reduction and 15% less damage taken from contact damage, and your hit sound is the metal sound instead of the regular one

these are two bosses that are connected.
in hardmode, you will encounter a enemy called the 'lost spirit' in the caverns similar to the tortured soul. it would look like a green wraith type enemy, since it would have wraith ai. when you kill it, it will turn into an npc with green robes and a withered skull mask and a sword on his back. he would defend himself with a sword that shoots a heat ray beam. theres only one name for this npc, arkadium. when you first talk to him, he will say 'stop! stop, I surrender!'. at first he will sell won't sell anything, but he will have a second option. he would send you on a quest to kill a boss called the reaver. this boss has a chance to spawn naturally in the dungeon. its sprite would looks like a big green wraith with spikes on it

teleports, and sends 3 shockwaves in your direction from where it was before it teleported

DROPS
it doesn't have drops, but after its defeated, arkadium will sell 7 more items
phase smasher (melee, works like the rocketmaul from grealm, when hitting an enemy green bombs rain down toward any enemy on screen)
impaler (ranged, a repeater that turns wooden arrows ainto either heat ray-like beams or arrows that leave behind damaging ghost crystals)
phantom wand (magic, summons a controllable projectile like the magic missile, that leaves behind damaging energy)
ancient staff (summon, summons ancient wisps to fight for you)
ghost bombs (throwing, fires a ghost bomb that ignores gravity, explodes, and bounces between enemies)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert would be when it spawns it spawns with 4 orbiting ancient wisps, which make him invincible. its custom item for expert its the ghost token, the higher an enemies defense the more damage critical strikes will do

after defeating plantera, he will give you another quest, to obtain a certain item, the lost token, dropped by the soul guardian. the soul guardian spawns post-plantera in the dungeon. it spawns through a portal like alien hornets and has 3 ai patterns. teleports like a caster shooting homing souls, flies around like a demon eye shooting explosive spirit bolts, and summons a swarm of dungeon setninels, which are basically stronger dungeon spirits. when you give arkadium the token, he turns into a boss and tries to kill you. it will say a line of text like 'finally, I am free. you've served your purpose, now you will DIE!' it would have a green background like the plaguebringer goliath from calamity and maybe some new custom music. its sprite would looks like the npc, except bigger

arkadium's blade (sword, acts like an arkahils, occasionally fires green waves. right click swings the sword normally and summons swords from behind you to on enemy hits)
decayed destroyer (rocket launcher, shoots decayed rockets that leave an expanding cloud of withering reach gas on impact. right click fires a spread of homing rockets that leak gas as they travel)
wither storm (book, rapidly shoots withering shards in volleys of 4, right click fires an expanding wave of decay with high knockback)
reaver staff (summon, summons a reaver to shoot green rays at enemies)
decayed sickle (throwing weapon, throws a homing decayed scythe. critical hits will release 4 additional scythes the chase down the enemy. right click will charge it by spinning it around you and fires toward your cursor insanely quick, and it will stay there spinning for a while before returning to you)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert is gaining a shield (like, an actual sheild, not like the pillar kind of shield) at 10% life that reflects certain projectiles, gives him a dps cap, and gives him insane damage reduction until he gets to 5% health. its custom item for expert is the shield of arkadium, accessory, gives 50 max life, 10% damage reduction, and press a hotkey to hold the shield up, reflecting all projectiles, 15 minute cooldown

this would be a duo boss fought early hardmode, post WOF. colossus's sprite would be a huge humanoid figure, while juggernaut would be a demonic skull. colossus is invincible, and juggernaut has 4 shields orbiting it, making it invincible. you cant damage the shields normally, you have to reflect colossus's projectiles back at the shields to deal damage to them. when the shields are dead juggernaut becomes vulnerable, and colossus gains a attacks faster and gains speed. when juggernaut dies colossus does too. while they are alive you gain a debuff that reduces your wing time by half.

ATTACKS
(juggernaut) fires slow moving energy cores
(juggernaut) rains energy from the sky
(juggernaut) shoots high velocity bolts
(juggernaut) fires a spread of exploding dust
(colossus) flies up to your horizontal level and charges at you quickly like queen bee
(colossus) charges directly at you, with a high knockback, ignores cobalt sheild
(colossus) if you're flying, he positions himself under you, and uppercuts, flies up higher and attempts to meteor strike you, crashing on the ground in an aoe
(colossus) teleports above you either to the left or right and attempts to slam you to the ground. if he succeeds, you are stunned for 5 seconds
(colossus) launches himself up, and charges rapidly 3 times, similar to expert EOC
(colossus) slams the ground, creating a shockwave, spawning stalagmite projectiles as big as he is
(colossus) charges and fires a ball of energy that can be reflected at juggernaut

DROPS
crusher blade (melee, huge sword, on enemy hits gains a stacking buff to swing speed and size, at 5 stacks enemies will explode on hit. on death enemies will spawn bombs)
decimator (ranged, shotgun, fires in a 3-round burst, fires high velocity piercing shots that leave behind damaging energy)
fist storm (magic, book, shoots a yellow orb that splits off into two homing fists. if those fists hit an enemy 5 more fists will attack them from behind you. right click to consume all your mana and rain down 3 fists that explode)
staff of the dreadnaught (summon, summons a dreadnaught spirit that looks like the stardust guardian, charges at enemies and punches them for high knockback. gives you a buff that gives damage to all summons except that one (its meant to be used more as a support summon, combined with other minions, other than to having multiple))
hammer of might (throwing, throws a hammer that travels for a short while then goes straight down. on impact with tiles it creates seismic shockwaves in both directions)

EXPERT
its custom ai for expert is that if you get hit consecutively 5 times by juggernauts projectiles, one of his shields will regen to full health. its custom item for expert is the charged titan crystal, which stores 3 'lives'. when you reach critical health, the first will save you from death and restore 300 health, it will then turn into an energized titan crystal, which restores 200 health on death, then turns into a titan crystal, which restores 100 health, and then turns into the depleted titan crystal. craft the depleted titan crystal into a titan crystal with crystal shards, craft the titan crystal into an energized titan crystal with mech boss souls, craft the energized titan crystal into a charged titan crystal with ectoplasm

got some more bosses up there and some planned
i'll give you hints for them... necromancer, inhaler of terraria, and the collective are upgrades to skeletron, destroyer, and twins
 
These are pretty good ideas. For the crimson core/Basilisk, i would have them spawn in when you completely eradicate the crimson/corruption. if you lose then it comes back, you get what i mean.

Oh so like a final boss of the Corruption/Crimson. Probably not since that would be 1. Extremely annoying to summon, especially in large worlds and 2. Even more annoying to farm, as you would have to plant seeds and wait for it to spread enough. Besides, I just wanted a post-plantera eow/boc
 
well i mean it wouldn't be a boss to farm mainly, just sorta a way to congratulate the player on killing the corruption/crimson, and the trophy would be %100

still though, that would be a lot of effort just to fight one boss moon lord and some people might just skip it
 
Some of these are actually fairly interesting and could certainly be added as something between bosses and minibosses.
 
while I'm putting in the xerium invasion force event, what bosses do want me to do next (which ones sound the coolest, ect) I would put a poll about this but after I scrapped my old one I have no idea how to add another one
 
alright, the xerium supercommando and invasion force are up, along with the collective, inhaler of terraria, and the necromancer. tomorrow I will work on cyberius, reaver, and arkadium, which are, my personal favourites, besides the ones I put up

They are slightly interesting, but I cant imagine this many bosses in terraria. Maybe you should make a mod with all of them? Either way, I think I like it. But Im not supporting it as of now.
 
I have some boss ideas too!

1. mechanical slime. mechanical version of slime king. summoned with "suspicious looking blob".

2. wall of mesh. Mechanical version of wall of flesh. summoned when "corrupted metal" is dropped in water.

3. Heart striker (valentine holiday boss). summoned with "evil chocolate box"

4. plantera prime . summoned when "titanium bulb" is destroyed. achievement unlocked: weed killer: "defeat plantera prime, the cousin of the overgrown monstrosity"

5. Mimic lord. summoned when 200 mimics are killed during mimic storm or when "normal chest" has a "normal key" in it. achievement unlocked: chest bester: "defeat mimic lord and his minions in a mimic storm"

6. The while knight. summoned when lunatic cultist is killed 3 times

7. king hornet. summoned with honey crown

8. Ice scream. summoned with abandoned ice cream cone

9. the ear of Cthulhu. summoned when eye, brain, *skull and arms of Cthulhu have been defeated twice. achievement unlocked: Cthulhu's bane: "defeat the Cthulhu bosses: eye , brain, skull, arms and ear"

10. YOU!!!. summoned once player has collected every weapon. achievement unlocked: A true master: "Defeat yourself... that sounds messed up"
