Ice Queen
Motes would be a new pet type that provides a buff to the user.
Ice mote
found in ice chests or dropped rarely by enemies in the ice biome
slows down enemies near the player
Fire mote
found in shadow chests or dropped rarely by enemies in the underworld
sets nearby enemies on fire
Air mote
found in skyware chests or dropped rarely by enemies in the sky biome
increases knockback, reduces fall damage
Bubble mote
found in water chests
occasionally turns you invisible for 5 seconds, hurts fire enemies
Lava mote
dropped uncommonly by the wall of flesh
hurts water enemies, sets nearby enemies on fire
Zen mote
dropped rarely by enemies in the hallow
increases health regeneration
Novas would be similar to motes, but they would be consumable items, rather than pets.
Nova
20 damage
lasts 5 seconds
found rarely in wooden chests and fairly commonly in gold chests
crafted with 5 fallen stars and 5 meteorite bars, makes 5
hovers in the air and shoots light beams at enemies(similar to spectre staff projectile) at a rate of 2 per second
10% chance to heal the player 10 health upon damaging an enemy
Super Nova
30 damage
lasts 10 seconds
crafted with 5 novas and 10 souls of light, makes 4
found rarely in golden chests
hovers in the air, chases after enemies. shoots light beams at a rate of 3 per second
20% chance to heal the player 10 health upon damaging an enemy
Ultra Nova
50 damage
lasts 20 seconds
hovers in the air, chases after enemies shooting light beams at a rate of 3 per second
has a 20% chance to heal 20 health upon damaging an enemy
crafted with 1 super nova and 10 souls of might
20% chance to not be consumed
Dark Nova
35 damage
lasts 15 seconds
hovers in the air, shoots dark beams at enemies at a rate of 2 per second
heals 10 health upon hurting an enemy
crafted with 10 super novas, 10 souls of night and 10 souls of might, makes 10
tooltip:"Afraid of the dark? You will be..."
Rod of Nova
uses 20 mana, gives a nova
found in shadow chests and rarely in golden chests
3% chance to break upon use
crafted with a sapphire staff and 5 novas
Nova Blade
40 damage
autoswing
fast speed(25 use time)
crafted with 20 novas, 10 souls of light and might, and a keybrand. heals 5 HP every hit.
Nova Cannon
damage: 71
speed: very fast(10)
shoots three stars with a(roughly) 35 degree spread
each three stars only consumes one ammo
uses fallen stars for ammo
30% chance to not consume ammo
crafted with a star cannon, illegal gun parts, and 100 souls of might.(they're not that hard to get.)
upgraded star cannon.
