Official Terrarian
I have been playing Terraria since 1.1 and have earned all of the steam achievements except for the 200 angler quest achievement (154/200) and I believe that there should be more achievements added to the game. Here are some of my ideas for achievements that should be added. These achievements will be sorted by difficulty.

Difficulties:

Achievements written in this color will be simple
Achievements written in this color will be intermediate
Achievements written in this color will be tough
Achievements written in this color will be extreme

Here we go!


What are you on?
Have 5 buffs activated simultaneously

Ice Fishing
Catch 5 fish in one day in the winter biome

At your command
Summon 2+ minions simultaneously

Slayer
Defeat your first boss

Adventure Time
Explore or enter every biome in your map

Unleash the beast
Summon the Wall Of Flesh using a voodoo doll

Ooo! Shiner!
Mine your first nugget of hardmode ore

Fashion!
Wear a matching set of vanity armor | Not to be confused with "Fashion Statement"

Survival of the fittest
Have 8+ monsters on your screen simultaneously

Halloween is upon us
Craft a Pumpkin Moon Medallion

Christmas is upon us
Craft a Naughty Present

Halloween Headhunter
Defeat every mob type of the Pumpkin Moon

Christmas Grinch
Defeat every mob type of the Frost Moon

Plethora of monsters
Slay 20 monsters in a matter of under a minute

Pet Herder
Obtain every pet in the game and summon them | This does not have to happen simultaneously

Minion Maestro
Obtain every minion in the game and summon them | This does not have to happen simultaneously

Boss Rush
Defeat 6+ Bosses in one night | This can be done as I have done so myself

A brush with the great
Be in the same game as a Terraria developer | Warning: Extremely Difficult

Ruler of monsters
Slay every mob type in the game | Every mob, every boss, everything evil

Addicted
Have 500+ Hours of playtime on Terraria

1001%
Unlock every achievement in the game | Toughest out there!

Considering every boss has its own Achievement, this seems rather redundant to me.

Requires WAY too much luck, only 4 out of 22 pets (not counting the CE Bunny) are bought or 100% drops.

Apart from generating lots of spam from would-be achievement hunters, I don't think the Developers spend all that many time in the main client.

This forces people to play even if they already have done all the other Achievements, which I believe is easily achievable within three weeks of non-stop playing.

Bit redundant in my opinion, doesn't actually offer you a proper challenge.

Already exists. Do some research before posting a new achievements thread. >_<
 
Pet Herder would also not be possible on those who don't have collectors edition or have a crimson world due to exclusive pets with them
