He struggles out of a couple of the hands, but not all, so he tries using his strings to rip the hands away from him.

*Gets attacked by strings.

Error realises that the strings are not affecting the hands and stops using them, letting them fall to the floor.
"Stop! Let me go! AGH!"

"I AM THE DESTROYER OF UNIVERSES!"
the strength of his struggling magnifies when he says this, then slowly returns to normal.

"Gah! Maybe I cannot defeat you here...but I know a place where I can!"
he opens a very large rift in the floor that leads to the Anti-void, it may be big enough to make Torvus fall into it if he isn't careful.
(Oh yeah the anti-void is pure white btw, not sure if that counts as light but u decide if it affects Tormentum IF he falls into the rift)

*Tormentum falls into the Anti-void and freaking dies is now visible and is no longer strengthened by the Crystals.
*Torvus also falls in.
