pirates (and possibly goblins too) won't spawn when im in my afk farmer

tite explains it. ive spent so much time on building my afk farmer and it don't work. i guess i'll just cheat it by going into free items server. terrari is so unbalence and has so much bugs and its not gonna get updates.

Is the farm at world spawn? Also, is the pirate/goblin event active? Can't tell from that image.

Pirates, Goblins, and Martians will only spawn when near the center of the world or near other NPCs.

Put the Dryad or someone in a small hut under the grinder.

well its kinda far to spawn but not far from my bed

The wiki page is a little confusing, but I'm pretty sure the will only fully arrive at spawn. If you are near NPCs the message will say they have arrived, but they will only spawn at world spawn.
