    one of the most common things i see in the defense of brain's inconsistency is that it can block debuffs. this is rarely important in vanilla due to ankh shield blocking most of the common ones but in modded terraria its common for boss attacks to hit you with a heavy damage over time effect to "balance" warding builds

    I mean maybe someone doesn't know how to deal with alien queens and keeps getting Distorted or something, but aside from that I feel like a low chance to block a debuff is reaching. Most vanilla debuffs either don't do very much or are quite rare.

    Either way I always felt like boc is marginally better until you start stacking sources of DR (which admittedly isn't particularly costly to your build and likely what you'll be doing if you equip defensive accessories anyway)

    @zenithspeed there's a lot of people that deep fry turkey to cook it and there's a market for big oil pots for it but theres also a lot of people who do it incorrectly and end up spilling boiling hot oil all over their lawn. some people also forget to take their frozen bird out to thaw ahead of time and then are effectively dropping a giant ice cube in a pot of boiling oil
