I am currently running macOS 10.15.4.
So first off, when I log on Steam, and click on terraria under the "LIBRARY" tab, just below the play button, it says, "Your current macOS (Catalina) is unable to run 32-bit games. This game may not run. This game is Steam Play enabled, so you can play it on Windows via Bootcamp or by using a PC." Thats odd because I thought macOS 10.15 was completely unable to run any 32-bit applications, yet Geometry Dash and Terraria run.
Other then that Terraria 1.4.0.3 runs perfectly fine except for one issue; when I use the scroll wheel to swap between different items, it takes on average 10 scroll wheel clicks (the clicking noise a scroll wheel makes when moved a certain distance) to move over one hotbar slot.
