Items Post Moon Lord ores and items

Trollface420

Eye of Cthulhu
After you defeat the Moon Lord, Terraria get quite boring so I've added 3 new ores that can be mined after you defeat the Moon lord. After the Moon Lord is defeated he will drop approximately 30 Moon Lord's orbs

that are scattered on the surface. When you mine a Moon Lord's orb the following message will appear "Your world has been blessed with Uranium!"

When you mine the 2nd Moon Lord's orb the following message will appear "Your world has been blessed with Plutonium!"

Each time you smash a Moon Lord's orb approximately 150 pieces of either ore will generate in a random area below a depth of 500m. Also the Moon Lord will drop a Particle Accelerator. The Particle Accelerator can be placed and is required to make the final and most powerful ore: Copernicium.

To make Coppernicium you need to craft 1 piece of Uranium Ore with 1 piece of Plutonium Ore at a Particle Accelerator.

I don't see a reason for this.
Even if there was, It'd need some more thought and a lot more content, since this new mode doesn't even have a name yet and has no purpose. Also it would be easily overwhelmed by Hardmode's massive amount of content.

No support.

So with post Moonlond gear gameplay it's too boring/easy, then add more powerfull stuff so it will be even more boring/easier? I see no sense.

We already got post Moon Lord gear and armor. All weapons except Celebration, maybe Star Wrath and the Stardust Guardian, are very strong compared to it's earlier weapons.

We do not need more armor and weapons post Moon Lord, especially if it's as close to a process as getting your first hardmode armor set.

This has also been said a lot of times, to many people, but Moon Lord is titled as the "Final Boss", so the ore he drops is fitting for the final ore/bar.

If you want new progression content, it will probably have to be put between bosses before Moon Lord, such as a new boss after the 3 Mechs that allows plantera to spawn instead of destroying the 3 mechs.

This thread might have earned more sympathy if the weapons were more unique, instead of being essentially the same as existing weapons, just with an inflated damage value.

As you might have noticed, the vast majority of weapons introduced after 1.2 had some creative mechanics that would make them fun to use. Some were more successful than others, but "deals a crap ton of damage and inflicts this new damaging debuff (even though we have like half a dozen of those already)" would be considered a disappointment.

Actually, I think a lot of people (like I admittedly did) just passed over the drops after reading the first paragraph (or perhaps just the title) simply because the concept of adding an involved tier of equipment after defeating the Moon Lord is not something that we want to see at all. (Feel free to skip the rest of this rant if you get where this is going).

[RANT]The idea of a post-Moon-Lord tier detracts from the enormous build to a definitive final boss and conclusive specialized endgame equipment. Succeeding the specialized weapons, tools, and armor rewarded for completing the Towers Event and the Moon Lord with a cheap throwback to 1.1-styled equipment is especially dissatisfying, but the primary issue is that the game developers obviously put a crapton of work into producing a satisfying endgame, and adding something beyond it would either be a disappointment or utterly redundant.[/RANT]

Undoubtedly a suggestion will get likes for imaginative mechanics (and attractive sprites) but there is something intrinsically wrong about this concept as a whole.
