This is the place where I post all of my potion ideas, therefore it will always be a WIP. Now, to start...
Special Potions
Special potions are potions that use regular ones and enhances them, with side effects. So lets get to it! By the way, if anyone wants to sprite, your welcome too.
Titanfall Potion
Crafted with 1 Featherfall potion, 1 Titan potion, and 3 iron/lead ore.
Negates fall damage, but you fall much faster (Pros: No fall damage, faster hellevator travel. Con: harder to climb stuff)
Buffshield Potion
Not sure about crafting for this one.
Makes you invulnerable to most buffs (not including Moonbite), but slows you down by 20% and causes a kind of semi-Blackness.

Regular Potions
These first ones are copied from one of my other threads, ignore the change in writing style.
Easy mode:
Cooling Potion
Gives buff 'Frigid', lasts 15 minutes
Reduces damage taken from heat sources (lava, hell bats, etc.) by 30%
Recipe: Bottled Water, Fire Blossom, Crispy Honey Block
Crafting Station: Bottle
Transformation Potion
Gives buff -insert critter name-, lasts 30 seconds
Transforms you into one random critter
As a critter you have same stats and still have full functionality (imagine a bunny swinging a Terra Blade. You never know what you REALLY need
). Really just a vanity thing.
Recipe: Bottled Water, Daybloom, Moonglow, Deathweed, Bunny
Crafting Station: Bottle
Color Change Potion
Because why not?
When you drink it, a small menu pops up that allows you to change the color of your character's skin.
Recipe: Bottled Water, Moonglow, Fireblossom, Black Paint
Crafting Station: Bottle
Butterfly Potion (tooltip: Seems to have an interesting effect, with butterflies too!)
Gives buff 'Butterfly Shield', lasts for 2 minutes
Makes enemy NPCs attack other nearby enemy NPCs for 10 seconds after they hit you. Effect spreads from NPC to NPC, but each one can only be affected once. Doesn't work on bosses or NPCs with over 500 health or 75 defense. Also, enemies defense gets reduced to 3/4's that of normal.
Recipe: Bottled Water, Shiverthorn, Blinkroot, Monarch Butterfly
Crafting Station: Bottle
Hard mode:
Crafting Potion
Gives buff 'Smarty Pants', lasts 1 minute
Allows all crafting up to Adamantite/Titanium Forge recipes everywhere, excluding Demon/Crimson alter stuff
Recipe: Bottled Water, All seven herbs, Mushroom, Glowing Mushroom, Chlorphyte Ore
Crafting Station: Bottle
Metamorphosis Potion
Gives buff 'RAWR!', lasts 2 minutes
Transforms you into one of three things: a Dragon, Golem or Flying Whale (because why not)
Each boosts your stats somewhat and gives you a special (and only) attack.
Dragon: Breaths fire (same stats as Elf Melter)
Golem: Punches with the force of a golem
Flying Whale: Eats things whole
Recipe: Bottled Water, All seven herbs, Solar Tablet Fragment, Luminite Ore
Crafting Station: Bottle
