Resolved Problem After Power Outage

my power went out for a second and now when I launch terraria i Get this screen what do I do?

I have done I lot of progress since saturday so I dont want to go back to that

The funny thing is I had paused my game I literally could have saved and exited and nothing would have happened lmao I could have prevented this with one click

I haven't really done much since 9:44am so Im ok with going back to that time

I advise you check whether the local files are the ones closer to the progress you had with terrasavr (for player files) and Tedit (for world files)

the 2 characters I use are on steam cloud

I had a power outage for a second and I booted up steam and when I tried to launch terraria this pops up what do I do? I dont want to go back to saturday because Ive made atleast 10 hours of progress since then.

I know that but there the last file for my expert world character is on saturday and thats when I uploaded it to steam
I made alot of progress in my world (not really my character) and my world is on steam cloud

Should I upload my local files to steam cloud or make my cloud files go back to local files?

I did it and I got everything before the outage. thanks! I didnt upload my files to cloud sooner because I thought it could corrupt them or smth

I just realized 9:44 was 11:44 because it shows the wrong time zone on steam so I got everything until a couple minutes before the outage

Hi @CyberScythe I combined your two thread into one, as we discourage duplicate threads here, even if they are in different sections.

I'm glad you were able to resolve your problem. I also highly suggest making manual back ups of your player and world folders. Just copy those folders, and paste them somewhere safe as a backup.
