Rich wood in Jungle, dont drop acorn. :'(

They never have done. Rich Mahogany trees grow spontaneously without needing acorns. So clear the jungle plants off a stretch of mud blocks and see if anything grows.

Oh wow never new that, but pretty sure you need acorns to grow them though.

Been playing for years and they've always grown without any kind of seeds. They appear where and when they will, but only on surfaces with no jungle plants. Can't recall whether they require Jungle Grass or not.

This is the case on the PC/Mac version. Could be consoles or mobile are different.

Thankfully, the Dryad sells acorns, and you can get acorns from chopping down Forest Biome trees and use them in the Jungle.

That'll work, as long as the block where you plant the acorn isn't under water.
