Roman Candle and Festive Top Hat

The Roman Candle and Festive Top Hat were introduced in the Thanksgiving update, and appear to be unobtainable. There have been some claims they're obtainable from the Clothier and Demolitionist respectively, during either Christmas, New Years, or Guy Fawkes Night (Nov 5).

Would anyone with the mobile edition by any chance want to try playing with their mobile date setting, to see if any of those are true? I'd do it myself if I had it, but I unfortunately don't...

Okay, I toyed with the dates, and I actually learned that when you set the date back to Christmas, you can acquire the roman candle from the demolitionist, and you can get the Festive Top Hat. Not only that, but when in hardmode, you can access the frost legion.

I tried this and I didn't find any of those items for sale. Can you show us pictures to back up your report?
