Sacrifice

Sacrifice is a new way of fighting bosses

1. Craft a altar

Recipe: 30 stone | 25 vertebrae / rotten chunks | 3 lenses

Crafted at: Anywhere


2. Craft a sacrificial knife

Recipe: 5 iron bars | 1 Tattered Cloth

Crafted at: Anvil


3. Craft a smoke potion

Recipe: 5 deathweed | 1 blinkroot | 1 glass bottle

Crafted at: Alchemy station


4. Place the altar


5. Throw smoke potion at a town npc


6. Right click the (unconscious) npc to pick him/her up


7. Place the npc on the altar


8. Place the normal items required for the boss you want in the altar


9. Use the sacrificial knife on the altar

What does spawning bosses this way do?

1. They have higher defence

2. They have higher health

3. They have higher damage

4. They have more drops

How do you spawn bosses like WoF, plantera and fishron?


WoF:

1. Throw smoke potion at 3 town npc's and take them to the altar

2. Place one and kill them without placing any items in the altar

3. kill the next one

4. kill the last one

5. Once 3 people have been killed on the altar a bucket of blood will be dropped from the altar

6. Pour it in the lava

7. Players will be debuffed by slowness


Plantera:

1. Kill all the mechanical bosses

2. Sacrifice the steampunker

3. The altar drops a bucket of acid

4. Right click the bucket on a plantera bulb

5. Players will be debuffed by blindness


Duke Fishron:

1. Kill plantera

2. Sacrifice the Pirate at the ocean

3. The altar will drop broken hook (fishing rod)

4. Use it with a truffle worm in the ocean

5. Players will be debuffed by potion sickness

Praised King Slime:

Drops: Slime armor set (5%) (armor)

Slime armor set bonus: Increases jump height, walking speed and decreases knockback


Praised Eye of Cthulhu:

Drops: Tired Lense (4%) (vanity)

Tired Lense effects: Enemies have a slight blurr and hearts/mana stars drops more often


Praised Eater of Worlds:

Drops: Massive Tooth (6%) (weapon) (spear)


Praised Brain of Cthulhu:

Drops: Nerves (4%) (hook)

Nerves effects: 2 hooks. Increases critical hit chance while hooked


Praised Queen Bee:

Drops: Rotten honey (6%) (potion)

Rotten honey effects: when below 100 hp bees surround you for 10 seconds to protect you


Praised Skeletron:

Drops: Giant Jaw (3%) (armor) (helmet)

Giant Jaw effects: The clothier will sell a new item: dungeon cloth

Dungeon cloth use: Can be used to craft a dungeon cloak (vanity)

Dungeon cloak effects: Makes all the enemies in the dungeon wear small wizard hats


Praised Wall of Flesh:

Drops: Flesh Pile (5%) (vanity)

Flesh pile effects: When enemies are killed they have a chance to drop a boring heart (0.5%) (flail)

Boring heart effects: Blood shoots from it every 6 seconds


Praised Twins:

Drops: Green lense (5%) (vanity) Red lense (5%) (vanity)

Green lense effects: water becomes green and all torches let of a green light

Red lense effects: water becomes red and all torches let of a red light


Praised Destroyer:

Drops: Shock Lance (4%) (weapon) (spear)

Shock Lance effects: Shoots a lightning stopping enemies when they are struck


Praised Skeletron Prime:

Drops: Heavy tooth (3%) (vanity)

Heavy tooth effects: Weapons spark


Praised Plantera:

Drops: Flower hat (5%) (armor) (helmet)

Flower hat effects: Plants have a chance to drop hearts (7%)


Praised Duke Fishron:

Drops: Broken fin (6%) (weapon) (boomerang)

Broken fin effects: Shoots out blue blood drops from the front of the boomerang

I don't think you should be able to sacrifice the Angler. The reason they made him leave instead of die is that it would affect the rating. Therefore, you should use the Pirate instead for Fishron summoning. Plus, I don't get WHY you would want Debuffs at the start of boss fights.

i'll change the spawning npc for fishron. The debuffs are for making the fight harder, but if it's too much i can remove it
 
Not a bad concept, but I don't like the function of literally sacrificing your innocent NPCs. They're supposed to be like people!
