And with that, he vanishes, and some very quiet footsteps could be heard going in the direction that everyone else was originally going.

Syttian then begins following the sound of footsteps.

 

[Ivyss]

Vaalden would follow as well.

Slap Battles gains some distance between himself and the others, so he can actually be an effective scout

 

[Streyll]

And Syttian would widen the gap further so she won't get caught up in anything Slap Battles does.

And for a while of walking, nothing happens, but then
"Psst! There's guards in the intersection ahead of us!"

 

[Streyll]

Syttian stops, and turns to look at Vaalden to see if she heard and stopped as well.

 

[Ivyss]

She has.

 

[TerrariaOn3DS]

And after a minute or so they could hear
"They're not going this way...They're just camping the corridor!"

 

[Streyll]

"*Should we deal with them?*"

 

[TerrariaOn3DS]

"I think I can lead them away though...Hopefully all of them follow me and don't leave anybody behind to keep guard!"

 

[Streyll]

Syttian just nods.

 

[TerrariaOn3DS]

There's no response to that, instead, voices and then gunshots could be heard coming from down the hallway
"There's that escapee!"
"Get him!"
"Kill him if necessary!"
"We don't want him to switch to something really powerful though!"
"But he has some kind of stealth glove right now! Shoot him!"

 

[Ivyss]

"*Do we go now?*"

 

[TerrariaOn3DS]

*Gunfire growing slightly distant*

 

[Streyll]

"*Probably.*"

 

[Ivyss]

Vaalden would continue in the direction.

 

[Streyll]

Syttian does as well.

They soon make it to an intersection in the hallway, with lots of evidence of gunfire going down the right hall.
