Weapons & Equip Separating Pickaxes from Drills

Ever since 1.1, people have been debating whether Pickaxes were better than Drills.

Ultimately Pickaxes had a slight edge.
How can we fix this?

Personally, when I am in the Pre-HM "MLG Mode" I use a Molten Pickaxe for hard blocks and the Nightmare Pickaxe for light blocks. This could prove as a model for the suggestion!

So, Pickaxes can have a primary purpose of mining harder blocks.
Meanwhile, Drills can have a lesser pickaxe power but a much higher mining rate!

Example: Palladium Pickaxe: 130% Pick power, Fast use time, 18 Palladium Bars
Alt: Palladium Drill: 100% pick power, Very Fast use time, 12 Palladium Bars

...

Titianium Pickaxe: 190% Pick power, Fast use time, 20 Titanium Bars
Titanium Drill: 150% Pick power, Insanely fast use time, 16 Titanium Bars

That would make the problem worse because drills would be unable to mine new ores, meaning that making the pickaxes would be needed to obtain new ore tiers anyways.
Simply making drills mine in a 3*3 area would fix the whole problem, as it would mean that drills would be better for working in bulk while picks would be better at precise mining.

Then there basically no point in making a drill, if you do your make the drill and pickaxe.
